That was really cool Jamie and Liz. You should consider doing a piece for National Geographic. Since you got your new equipment, the photography has stepped up quite a few notches. That is not just due to the equipment, you have just simply gotten better and know how to make underwater pictures shine. Thank you for sharing.
That was incredible. Great narrating....great photography. Great...great...great all around. thank you for bringing this world to the rest of us. Wishing you many more exotic dives like this.
What an absolutely outstanding episode. Thank you for taking us on this extraordinary underwater adventure into a world I doubt I’ll ever get to explore personally. Loved every minute of the narrative, video and photographs, truly a unique and memorable experience for you both, what a life you live! 🎉
the underwater video and photos are awesome and very colorful making it just spectacular; Jamie gets some real practice with his underwater photography, hopefully he is able to practice the skills he needs to practice on; Also the narration was great!
Cheers, Jerome. Of course I'd love better equipment so I could nail that focus better and increase clarity, but the TG6 isn't too shabby for pretty footage 😃
Absolutely spectacular vlog! Thank you so much for sharing, it really (as with all your vlogs) pulled me out of 'the doldrums' of a few problems at the moment! All love, and best wishes to you both, Claire, Lucy the cat, and Tommi the rescue dog, Berlin 😘😘😘❤
That narration was really something. Not many people can manage that without making a fool of themselves. Every single Australian TV presenter could learn something from this. I think it requires there to no ego involved, and a focus only on setting a mood and getting the point across.(but I'll never know😀)..
I'd say there's not much ego involved at all, we were just trying to get across as much info as we could in an engaging way. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the narration, it was a labour of love to run alongside Jamie's brilliant captures. 🙏👍 Liz
Dear piepels, this is REALLY amazing footage! I have been watching the whole video, glued to the screen. It's almost like I was watching a BBC documentary! Happy greetingz, and thanx for posting this video, Wim
Hi Jamie and Liz, fantastic underwater photography. Amazing entertainment. Some punch from the shrip, but 22 calibre LR goes about 1200 feet/second so, as fast as 75 is, still got a way to go to catch a 22.🤗
Hi Chris. Thanks for the correction. I double checked and if the article I just found is the same one Liz used then the correct phrasing should have been the same 'acceleration' as a 22!
Cheers, Jonnie! I spent hours checking and re-checking the information. A bit nerdish, but I love doing a little research. I had spotted that it was an Ambon scorpionfsh, but forgot to name it in the narration. We had no idea it was rare! Many of the critters were our first sightings, so they were all rare treats. 👌 🐠🐙🦑🦀🐡🦐😁 Liz
Great everything! Add to the cucumber fish, why are we it's greatest threat? Do we eat them or catch and harvest them for organs (thought to be curative or aphrodesiacal or some such)? Regards.
Hi Daniel. I'll check with Liz but I do know they are harvested for food. We often see them in markets and I believe there a big demand for them in China 🤮
I recognize supporting the locals is an important part of cruising -and a Guide is certainly useful as you point out - However - just out of curiosity, is it legal to dive in the area without a local guide? If you had your own gear and a compressor could you dive on your own?
I don't know about that, ut to be honest, I think you'd be very unpopular if you tried. And I don't think you'd find much. The local guide association works together to keep up to date with sightings. 🙏 Liz
Jamie here. Generally I don't think it would be too much of an issue, especially in the hard to get to spots around the world, but in this instance in Lembeh you could be treading on people's toes. It's not illegal though, so it's entirely up to you.
This is amazing, the quality of the footage, editing and narration is trully professional standard. Excellent work 👏
Cheers, m8, thank you for the positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed it 😃👌
Wow, great diving with lots of beautiful creatures.. love the notes with their names..
Thank you. I don't know what took longer, the editing or the researching of critters! We wanted to make sure we got everything right 😁
This could EASILY have been a Disney or National Geographic short documentary. Both the footage AND narration are FANTASTIC!!!
Wow, we'll take that compliment, so lovely of you. Thrilled to know you enjoyed one of our favourite episodes ever. 🙏👍 Liz
Amazing footage. What an exciting experience! I felt like I was watching an episode of National Geographic! Fantastic stuff!
Thank you. Yes, it was very exciting and we're keen to go back and do it all again!
Jamie and Liz, your photography and narration are second to none. What a great video!
Thank you, we appreciate the feedback.
Really is! There’s no “professional Documentaries” that are any better.. and the research gone into naming all of them Creatures? Wow!

Thank you! Yes, it's my top place to dive... So far. 😁👌 Liz
I really enjoyed watching this. The details, light and colors are amazing. Lembeh is absolutely perfect spot for Macro.. Have a great adventure.
Thank you, Hendra. Hopefully you can dive it one day. It's worth it!
Literally awesome. Cousteau is applauding from the great beyond. National Geographic and the Royal Society can eat their hearts out.
Merci bien! 😉😁 Liz

It's great to know that you found this entertaining, Paula. We're fortunate to experience these delights but we also get pleasure in sharing them 😃👍
Absolutely GORGEOUS underwater world! Thank you for sharing! Great voice over as well. I love learning about this ocean world !

Wow guys, my wife walked in while I was watching and thought it was a BBC production. Awsome stuff
Wow! That is a fantastic compliment. 🙏 Liz
One of your best non sailing videos. Mind blowing images. You both win my Attenborough award.
Awww, thank you. 🏆😁
Sir David is my hero. Liz
Beautiful! The first time I saw cuttlefish while on my first clumsy snorkel tour in Thailand, I fell in love.
Me too! I can sit and watch them for hours, especially when they look straight at you. Liz
You both keep outdoing yourselves with your videos. Thanks.
It took ages, but this was a labour of love. Liz 🙏
Great photography. Great narration. Great video as usual.
Thank you, Becky. Glad you enjoyed it 👍

Are you a diver and have you tried muck diving? Where's your favourite place to dive?
Genuinely jaw dropping guys. Amazing, amazing video
Thanks, Peter. Glad you enjoyed it 👍👍
Aliens on Earth.. really cool guys!
Thanks, Trev. Yes, it's a different world down there!

Wonderful footage, photography and narration! A real pick-me-up!
We're so happy to know you found our video, thank you! Liz
I love Lembeh Strait - once you 'get' muck diving there's no going back!
Yes, couldn't agree more, Rich 😃👌
Very very nice! Many thanks for showing the underwaterworld of that area.
It's so beautiful and interesting, we didn't want to keep it to ourselves. 👌 Liz
What an awesome episode!!
Thanks, Dan 😃👍
Absolutely stunning…you’ve snail 🐌 ed it with this one , both in narration and photography.. really!.. thanks
Thank you, we're delighted you enjoyed it. 👌 Liz
Some beautiful video and nice narration; a rare Ambon Scorpionfish @ 10:18 👍
Thanks for the identification, Jonnie. I can't say I'm too hot on the different scorpion fish so your comment is appreciated 😃👍
@@followtheboat All the fish ID was spot-on 😉

@@followtheboat Very impressed with the Scorpaenopsis diabolus ID 15:25...most people get this one wrong 👏
Wowza…Quite a Beautiful Job of Photography…Ya must have enjoyed every minute👍 Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy 😎
It was all rather extraordinary, Steven. We'd return in a heartbeat, except sailing back in that direction could be tough!
Absolutely astonishing footage and identification. Love it! Heading into Indonesia over the next week. Would be amazing to meet you guys.
It's a big place, but you never know! We plan to stay around here for a while yet. 🙏 Liz
@@followtheboat we're going to kupang then roti then lombok. Unfortunately we will push through pretty quickly for phuket and langkawi from there.
Beautiful presentation and the narration was excellent! Thank you.
Thank you! A lot of hard work and joy went into making this little documentary. 👌🙏 Liz
I don't know what those large clusters of fish were doing in a few shots, seemed like bees at the hive. Thanks much.
Normal fish behaviour! Some are curious, a few show off and the rest are camera-shy 😃
Amazing and Beautiful. Very Good Videoing and Editing. Thanks. Looks Like Fun Diving !!!!
Hi Robert. Yes, it's an incredible location. Can't recommend it enough.
Wow absolutely awesome diversity indeed, thanks for the video guys.
Cheers! Yes, it's a pretty remarkable place.
I was a little disappointed to not see a Scuba Steve cameo. Not even an orange beanie. 😄
I had to look that one up 🤔😂
What a lovely video…thanks 💕
Pleasure 😃
Simply stunning video.
Cheers! 👌🐠🙏 Liz
amazing Vido guys very professionally done, thank you.
Our absolute pleasure. It was a labour of love. 👌 Liz
What a stunning place 👍👍
It really is 😃
Just amazing what a wonderful video
So happy you enjoyed it. 👌 Liz
Awesome, thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get there later this year. Which month was this filmed please?
Almost like David Attenborough :)
He's a legend, my absolute hero; he should be world king. 😁👌 Liz
Your underwater videography skills are excellent - You and Jamie will need a pipe a red beanie cap and a French accent soon.....
I can do the accent, Jamie has a vape pipe...just need the beret. 😁 Liz
Wonderful
Cheers! 👌 Liz
Very nice work!
Cheers, Tom. Hope you're doing well 👍
Thanks FTB Very impressed with your work here.
What camera setup for the video?
Thank you that was great did you do a night dive? I did and thought it amazing.
Not in Lembeh, Rick, but we did quite a few in Sipidan earlier this year. Love night diving!
Great everything! Add to the cucumber fish, why are we it's greatest threat? Do we eat them or catch and harvest them for organs (thought to be curative or aphrodesiacal or some such)?
