Teamwork based killers? Survivors out for themselves? This is a fresh take on the formula that I love
When I saw Leatherface behind him, "drop a pallet" was my instinct thought.

Maybe im wrong but the killer side seems very teamwork based obviously but from what i have seen of the survivor side from watching people play it seems more solo like they dont use teamwork to escape the killer they just kinda do their own thing would be nice if there were more altruistic actions for the survivor side
I agree, although I think it is more realistic for people to fight for their own life in a life or death scenario like this
Give survivors no chance of teamplaying at all = no needs to balance it + automatically disables a certain community group of building up.
I think there’s at least some ways to increase your chances of escaping even if the enemy killers are well coordinated.
Just as a game in this genre should be like. Give killers more power from the start, so you can slowly but surely squeeze the balance where both parties will eventually be satisfied with the product.
And for now I haven’t seen Tru3 complain, he wants to learn, to improve and I’m excited for it.
Survivors are acting this way because they are all learning. They aren’t confident enough to worry about others. They just consider it an accomplishment to just escape as it is. Once the game mechanics are met and a meta is formed I guarantee the game will be a lot more altruistic. For instance people using bone shards to hit the family when they are grabbing someone. The survivors power that also can charge a family without needing the bone shard as well. One survivor disabling a generator while another opens escape routes to squeeze under in case leather face comes or something. I know it will get more team based

Left 4 dead is heavily teamwork based for both the survivor and infected side
The graphics and atmosphere of this game looks great so far. It has so much content worthy of customizing both sides. (Movie content)
I could see this game grow bigger than friday the 13th was on its peak times. (Before the devs were forced to shut it down ofc)
Played all day today I can’t wait for new maps and to fully customize perks. One thing I see getting changed is that there is no RNG. Everything is always in the same spot every game like the health and tool boxes. It will create a routine and
typically make the game un fun after a little while
Yea the lack of RNG was the first thing I noticed too. They really need to have multiple variations of the maps. Game is looking good so far but I still don’t understand why it’s 3v4 and not 3v6.

There’s a bit, but it’s not much. For example, the valve and fuse box on the second floor sometimes changes location.
They should make similar changes to victims’ supplies and the odd furniture that blocks the way for the killers, causes problems for the other two killers if bubba needs to remove the upstairs one all the time.
You don't need many variations of spawn points though because as a lifetime survivor player of asymmetrical horrors, it's nice to be rewarded with knowledge by putting down 600+ matches with randoms. 😂 And I have a feeling this new style is gonna encourage friends to link together as the family while most survivors will be playing solo randoms.

Tru3's a little too reliant on jumping out windows and the road exit, I think. Major tunnel vision. Going outside where there's 0 cover or places to juke with a character that has like no stamina or getaway ability is basically just throwing yourself to the bad guys, especially with cutting your health in half jumping out the window and announcing to enemies that are already close by that you're there. Even IF the electric trap was off you wouldn't have made the sprint anyway.
You're playing the character who is specifically one of the best ones for completing the prompt minigames and ignoring all the other exits that require doing them in favor of trying to rush to the exit that requires sprinting across the entire map with a stamina meter that's like a quarter as good as the other character's (and also injuring yourself and announcing to everyone that you are there).
Yeah he doesn't seem to have any goal after getting out of the basement. He just kinda wanders around

Random Family Tips, The biggest mistake you can make as the family is leaving them metal doors open for the victims to escape out of the basement, as well as not locking them.
There are 4 ways victims can escape.
On the family team, if you’re not Leatherface who is only Family member who can spawn in the basement, the other two should focus on trapping, locking doors and turning on machines at exit gate to make it harder for them to escape, by turning on the machines, electric track become active to stop victims from getting past it.
Don’t forget to feed grandpa as well since he’s be really useful later in the match.
Leatherface should be focusing on stopping any victims from escape in the basement, as well as destroying any obstacle to help the family.
The Hitchhiker is only one who can go through gaps in the walls and through them little metal door as well.
The Cook is very useful for his locks, use them to plan out doors to locked before the victims escapes the basement
Try holding E button when performing actions.

Hmm, i dont think that this game is that kind of game to be so careless i mean, is about patience, using hiding spots and playing more normal than the "lets speedrun this". Its a shame that today's gaming mindset its about the Be like the professional players, be like the streamers, instead of playing normally.
Idk if the cooks ability works on survivors standing still but he can pretty much pin point your location anyway so you probably wont hide against him

I would hope people were getting better. It is only one map with a few options of escape. Game looks fun but I guarantee it is going to be super limited on content. This gameplay loop of unhook, find toolbox(if right class), escape is going to get boring unless the maps offer more dynamic things. Swap the toolboxes around, close off exits randomly, hell spawn survivors in different locations to spice it up.
Agreed, and this is what kills a lot of these niche multiplayer games. Hopefully they can spice it up or have content prepared before launch.
Nope it's the same device who made Friday 13 which is similar concept of a killer and survivors and they had multiple options of escaping and frday 13 was never boring and more fun than dbdl

I don’t see it lasting long it lacks variety and is kinda restricted to only Texas Chainsaw Massacre characters but it’ll be fun for at least a month…. I’m thinking 30$ price at most
..as if DBD has TONS of variety. You do gens. Then open a door to escape. The variety for DBD is in the perks, which this game will have as well.

I can't understand how people can compare this game to DbD, they are two completely different games. It makes no sense to say "DbD is better".
Dbd is definitely not better. I see what you’re saying though. Just because it’s an asymmetrical game doesn’t mean it has to be compared to DBD

It’s one objective: do generators and the core mechanic of the game is figuring out how to run in a circle effectively enough before dropping a piece of wood on the killer and rinse and repeat. So I stand by my use of the word definitely by stating a fact.

No, you can stun them though. If they have someone in that grapple mini game. You can run up and stab them with the bone shard

I think 3 killers is overkill
They need to work together though which is what makes it cool. Only one killer can fit through cracks that survivors slip in. I’ve seen plenty of survivors slip out and they have to run around a decent way to get to the side the survivor came out from. Hitchhiker can follow but that’s about it. Leather face can’t climb ladders and is the only one who can destroy obstacles. If you’re Ganged up on by 2 or 3 killers you’re screwed I agree but there is plenty of stuff in the game to try to avoid that. Not to mention especially in the beginning the killers need to turn on all the traps to stop survivors from escaping right away so there’s 2 killers distracted for a while or at least one. If it’s the cook distracted you have no one listening to find people. If it’s the hitch hiker you have no one that can follow survivors when they slip away. And leather face only spawns in the basement

Your talents seem only to be limited to DBS ffs lmao. You've been playing this game since yesterday and still haven't gotten the lay of the land or what to do or what to avoid. Also, this game has massive balancing issues and hopefully the devs will fix it soon.

Feels very balanced to me. I saw multiple times; all 4 survivors escaping.
And theres no teleportation and supernatural powers like in F13 and DBD. The Sawyers are humans
From what i read Johnny and the Manson girl, Sissy are more strong tho.

@@nickolasortiz3919 there is 4 ways out, 4 objectives. 8 objectives if you count having to break each way out into two objectives, for instance getting a fuse from a room upstairs and going all the way in the basement to install it. This shows already how much you know about the game. DBD is the game with one way out one objective which is do generators. I think you got the games confused
This game will sadly go the same route as the predator game due to lack of variety
Do you mean maps? cause two more on launch with more post launch. same with killers and survivors. perk trees and cosmetics as well. this is just a barebones test so the launch can go smoothly.

I don't really understand seeing everyone play this just running around. You rush through bone chimes and run around the house, move while grandpa is awake and then wonder why the family finds and kills you 24/7. This isn't DBD. A stealth element is required
Watch omi wrecker and CaRtOoNz, they actually try saving everyone and stuff. It def is more fun to see people try escaping together
