As for the cutters, I use a deep v cut cutter. I would highly recommend for a straight cutter is getting one that has a back stop on it as it won’t let you cut to much off
I agree Jim! Tupperware is the way to go! I use Systema and I have 3 of them. Best investment I made for my cigars. I keep it in a wineador with 65% boveda packs and a digital hygrometer. The best decision I made with my cigars. I would highly recommend Tupperware.
I’ve had nothing but issues with zippo single butane. I tend to just use a straight zippo. Being an ex smoker the fuel taste is nothing that’s bothered me. I ended up getting a wood humidor. Just prepped it for a few weeks before using. Have had no real issues with it. Got a bead pack to go in it. Just filled it with the liquid I got to season the humidor and it works fine. The humidor was won off a cigar bidding website for $50 for a 50 count cigar holder. My cutters were just cheap straight cuts from a local cigar store.
Also had issues with the zippo butane insert. What i did was add a few spacers in the bottom to lift from the bottompart of the case. type ducttape spacers on each short side 2-3 layers of tape. I assume that the fill port also works as a vent to suck in air when the butane is used and if its blocked the whole thing sputter and stops working. Its now working as good as any other torch ligher i have.
