You have done a lot of work in the heat. So, I guess none of your rolling stock is wider than the trucks as that track seems really close to the building. We will see in the next update video.
Before I began securing the track, I took some of my rolling stock and ran it through the tunnel to make sure it would clear. With the O-27 track, the rolling stock usually isn't wider than the ties.
@@jayducharme I knew you had checked it out, it is just that So many different train cars and engines I have seen in different scaled do have over hangs. Had me wondering.
No offense, but I question the track against your shed, the car ran successfully. But is there enough clearance between the edge of the shed to the track and the train?
As I said to @Robothut, I had tested my rolling stock on that stretch of track before locking down the sections. One benefit of the Menards O-27 track is that the ties reach about a half-inch beyond the outside rails. That creates a useful buffer.
The car successfully going across the track was so satisfying.
Hope the track won rust overtime! Great layout! Can’t wait to see more of the progress!
What a cliffhanger! I would have been tempted to carve a tunnel through the tree stumps verses going around.
I did consider going through the stumps. But they’re pine and rotting pretty fast. I didn’t want sap all over the track.
