my earring is a thick one and doenst have something to apply pressure to fix. its like a thick V shape. i think the hole that holds it closed has opened up and cant hold it anymore. is there anything i can do?

Gurl this was my trick too until i got these very thin posts ... Two times and im having a hella time. I got the flat type that squeeze on both sides to lock. They are hard to pinch. They hurt my fingers but they worked for a while. Now they are getting loose so im on the hunt. The pairs are 30$ each so its hard to buy the real good kind at 50$ for a pair
