Most triumphant indeed! I confess, I'd not heard of these guys, so thank you for the introduction! I will definitely check out more Super Monster Party. Just two years ago, I wasn't a big fan of growling in music. I didn't dislike it, I just hadn't come across a band that did it consistently that I was a big fan of... then along came Jinjer, and through their bassist Eugene I was introduced to his favorite band Opeth, and so on. At this point, I understood the growls just as easily as the cleans in this song. Looking forward to the Jinjer reaction tomorrow!
Glad you dig em! I've got a few more videos covering them on my channel! I get the growls issue. I used to listen to a lot of Death Metal when I was younger but also listened to a lot of punk and thrash. When the growls started making it into more varieties of music, I couldn't get behind it for a long time. I'm starting to soften up, though. Haha. New Jinjer reaction is uploading now!
@@StickDastardly It was never really an 'issue', as I did have a friend who was heavily into Death Metal and I liked it, but never quite enough to listen to it on my own. Funny thing is, that was my late teens, early twenties. I turned 50 late last year, but if I could go back, I think I'd appreciate it quite a bit more. I'll look up those Super Monster Party reactions, but will likely listen on my own, then check out your reaction. Thanks again!
