Thank you so much for the video. The measurement details are really very useful. I made the candle. But when i blow of the flame and pour into my palm the liquid became wax immediately. I wonder where i have gone wrong. Kindly help me
You're welcome! How long are you letting it burn before blowing out and using? Did you use the exact oils and wax in the recipe? Some oils and waxes are harder so they will solidify quicker.
I really wanted to thank you for spending your valuable time in replying to my doubts and questions. I am sorry if i am annoying you. I really wanted to make a massage candle after watching your video. I used shea butter, pure coconut oil and pure soy wax. I only had these materials with me. I let the candle to burn for 10 mins.
I made a lotion candle, but when I pour the melted wax on my hand after burning it, it smells like burning, even though I put essential oil in it? How can I fix this?
It sounds like it's probably the essential oil - a lot of them have very low flashpoints and do not do well in a burning candle. Fragrance oils produce better results in candles while essential oils require a lot of testing for problems like this.
The glue from the wick tape is only meant to keep the wick in place. Candles should never be burned completely to the bottom so the tape would never be exposed to the skin if that is the concern.
I can't wait to try this out. Thanks!
Such a great recipe! You can feel the difference!
LOVE THIS ! DO YOU KNOW CAN I USE THE ORGANIC VIRGIN COCONUT OIL FROM COSTCO ?
Yes you should be able to use that however the coconut aroma might transfer into the lotion candle.

The glue on the sticker pads is not skin safe
