After houuuurs of watching videos and sifting through crap, you're the first person to sound sincere and not like you're just selling shit. I hate how RUclips puts these BS Reviews of cameras ahead of legitimate people in the results for searches. Anyway. Thank you!
Have you tried the GH5 M2 6K - You can shoot in 6K Anamorphic without the lens - So you can get 6K Video - If you play with the Autofocus Long enough you can get it to work quite nicely. Maybe not quite as good as the big Sony's but Quite good none the less.
Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't try it yet but I also don't see this camera that interesting as you could get better app-c and full frame cameras with better af in that price range. Then I'd rather go for Fuji, Sony or Canon.
@@pascalbasel a camera can’t be judged by only specifications. And actually the price is cheap for what you get. If the AF works for your workflow it is a no-brainer
@@rvdb1981 Well, I used the original GH5 for a few years. So I know it's not bad, but I also know the competition and I'd rather recommend the XT4. People that shoot anamorphic already know what they need, so they won't watch my videos anyway. The GH6 seems quite nice if af is not important tough.
The video I was looking for! Perfect list, though i feel like using only the body's camera for the budget it's tricky because I find for example that Fuji's lenses are almost twice expensive as Sony's because you can rely on other brands like Sigma. Maybe im missing something, I just dont know if go with Sony or Fuji :)
I would probably pick Sony if I could choose again. Like you mentioned, Fuji lens prices are insane. If you want to shoot wide angle, Fuji's f/2.8 zoom is heavy, expensive and doesn't accept filters. The 16-55 is more expensive than a Sigma 24-70? I don't know why. Even the 24-105 f/4 OSS on Sony is cheaper, with better range, OSS and similar sharpness. I can build a same kit with the exact same focal lengths for the same price even with the more expensive A7iv. There's barely any sharpness loss with good 3rd party brands like Sigma compared to Sony lenses. Also you get better bokeh too. I have a Fuji now, and I'll hold on to it a while more only because the A7iv cropped 4k60 is a deal breaker. If you want to shoot lots of portraits, Sony's just easier to work with I guess, since the autofocus is soooooo good. And there's always that full frame dynamic range. No competition there. I'll take that extra 1.5 stops.
Yeah, but it's hard to judge with lenses as everyone would pick another one. Such a video would be 60mins+ and confuse people more than helping them ;-)
@@pascalbasel yes, you are right, this video was a perfect summary. It's just that I was decided to go with Fuji because they were in my budget but then I saw their lenses, like Potato said, and realized it gets out of budget for me. No love for Blackmagic? They have multiple cameras that neatly fit into each of the budgets you mention (granted, for less than $1000, you will have to go used). The Pocket Cinema Camera range would be perfect. * Less than $1000 - OG Pocket Cinema Camera (used, as it's no longer in production) * $1000 - $2000 - Either the Pocket 4K or the Pocket 6K * Over $2000 - The Pocket 6K * I would also mention the Micro Cinema Camera, which can be found for under $1000, however it needs to be rigged much more than the others, however it does have the same sensor as the OG Pocket Cinema Camera (which gives a gorgeous image).

Stabilization in DR is good enough now and days to not worry about any type of stabilization honestly, but for consistency you should use gimbal, tripod, or a slider.
Cameras like that are not for people that would usually watch this video. People that need cinema cameras know what they need. The ZCams and BM cameras are great especially for the price but overkill for many creators and doesn't fit a run and gun shooting style. And manual focus is only good if you're behind the camera. If your using DSLR's for video now and days your burning through money without the value. Hands down, learn cinema. Learn to pull focus. It's not hard, and just requires a bit of your time, once you get used to it you'll land more focus then relying on any focus system.
The moment you're in front of it (what many people here on YT are), you love good af.
@@pascalbasel I guess so, but your stating cameras for professional work, it doesn't get much more professional then that my man.
@@pascalbasel most of the things companies will ask for, you can do with a cine cam under a good budget
@@pascalbasel I’m beginner and choose zcam e2c, it’s cheap with loads of features and great spec for the money. Yes it’s required little bit of learning than just press the button 😜
würdest du heutzutage noch eine Alpha 7Sii empfehlen?
Gebraucht gibts da relativ attraktive Preise..
Nein, definitiv nicht. Lieber etwas geld sparen und ne gebrauchte S5 oder so.
To be really useful a camera must have a viewfinder, at least for still photography. Canon M50m2 for less than 700USD.
Is a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k a good starter camera? I saw it's not easy to use, but when I'll eventually learn to use it I probably won't have to buy another one, right? Plus I'm thinking of getting it for my 18th birthday, so I won't probably have any other occasions to get a good camera in a while, and I'll be able to slowly get the bmpcc4k setup throughout the years, instead of having to buy a new camera and whole new setup at a certain point. Is it a good investment?
I am also beginner and consider to get the Blackmagic 6K pro. Only downside for beginner is that it has no Autofocus and Ibis.
I’m considering getting the Sony A7 iv. One project I will be using it for immediately is stop motion animation. Would you recommend a specific lens for that application? I will be using it for other projects in the future also, FYI.
What would you recommend I should opt for if I'm interested in filmmaking under $1000? Great video by the way, definitely subscribing!
did you find any good option? I'm in the same situation than you
@@BrawlStars-jd7jh I'm thinking of the Fujifilm X-S10, but not sure yet.
Hi this is a great video, thank you for sharing. I wanted to ask if the Canon M6 11 creates a clicky sound on continual AF? I have the G7X 11 and it’s super annoying when this happens. Or maybe there is an actual video camera you could recommend for me? It’ll mostly be for filming makeup tutorials. TIA much appreciated.
AF sound comes from the lens, so it depends which lens you use. My lenses didn't have that on the M6ii
Straight and simple to the point. You earned a sub. Thank you
I've been looking at canon r7, however, it uses extremely old sensor (from 90d) which makes some of the shots look jiggly. If canon could somehow minimize this isue than csnon r7 would be no brainer for budget or even semi pro categories
what camera did you get ??
Thank you for sharing ☺️😻
sind da Möglichkeiten raw aufzunehmen? wie sind die Bitraten? kann man die codecs gut in DaVinci resolve benutzen? wie sind sie im vergleich zu einer bmpcc 4k/6k?
Juat gonna buy a Sony A7 iv because it seems like the best value per quality per price. Good 5 year investment easily 👌
I need your honest opinion about Fuji XT4 vs Sony A7IV. I can get A7IV but if i am getting good AF and IBIS in XT4, why not save money. But i have been told that XT4 is not good in AF and IBIS is not that good when compared to S5 or A7IV. Please help with your input.
The Af on Sony is a lot better and IBIS is similar as far as I remember. I'd go for the a7iv.
@@pascalbasel thanks . I will act on you recommendation. Since I am going to use 4k 60 fps most of the time , is it okay to get a apsc 16-50 mm f2.8 sigma for a7iv
Great list.
Hopefully, you will have to add the GH6 and Z5
Great video can I ask where you got your font?
I got it from Envato Elements
@@pascalbasel awesome, does it have a specific name?
Wow
My 1 wk research is just summarised in this video😂
Nice video 👍
Thank u 😊
Haha that's great to hear 👍🏻
Thank you for the video! I’d like to get my wife a good camera video with a budget around $2,500. I was wondering why the Canon R7 didn’t make your list? And what camera video would be your top pick for $2,500?
Look at the publishing date 😉
@@pascalbasel thanks which camera would you recommend for $2,500?
Hey man.... I really really dont know what to do ... i hae the chance of the canon d90 and the cinema pocket camera 4k
I think youre gemran by the way :D
I wanna make short moies and i dont know what to choose... cause abiosly the canon can also make good photos...
but the bmpck 4k can do better ideos... id ont mind if the difference is huge but... yeah... PLS HELPPPPP
I wouldn't get any of them. DSLR is old technology and the BMPCC doesn't have proper autofocus. FX30, XT4 or R7 are better choices in my opinion.
@@pascalbasel Thx... but those cameras cost too much for me at the moment...
But do you think theyre enough to start making short moies and are they quality wise good enough for the audioence
Fuji X-T4 my lovely :P
Amen
Great ,nice vedio❣️
Fingers crossed that a7cII gets 1.0/1.1 crop 4k60 because it is less pro oriented and won’t cannibalizes a7sIII or a1/a9 with missing controls and poor viewfinder.
Absolutely, even I would love to have a7Cii. It would be an absolutely fantastic camera because I actually prefer smaller sony bodies. It would be a fantastic b cam to my a7Siii.
I'd love if you're right but I don't think so. Let's see what happens with this camera.
Hey what do you think about z9? Would love to know your thoughts!
Not for everyone as of its size and lens choices. But overall a good camera.
Hello ! Great video ! Thank you very much for it , I don't know much about cameras but I want to make RUclips soon , I already made it once , 4000 k subscribers only with gaming when I was a kid , and I love it , it's my passion , and now I'm looking to make it at a bigger scale , thank you again, it will help me to choice
Thank you so much 🙏🏼
ty
good video explaining the differences. I wanted to know if canon m6 mark 2 would be good for a travel vlogging channel(flights, scenary etc) ? I want to shoot in 4k but dont need high frames per second as I wont be doing slow motion footage.
Yes, the M6ii is one of the best options for that in this price range.
Canon M6 and no canon 90d? I’m confused
I won't recommend DSLRs. It's old technology and too big.
Well, all over RUclips they boast a lot about Lumix G9 for budget, but her it is like ... I am offered🤔 a cam + 5x zoom 12-60 mm for $2000. Is it a clumsy, old-fashioned buy?
The G9 is a good choice if you don't need good af.
You can always get a cap for the viewfinder on the a7c
Great video as always 😀👍
Thanks bro
What you think about a6400?
No ibis, no dis, strong rolling shutter… unless you only use it on a tripod, I wouldn’t recommend it.
@@pascalbasel thanks for reply 👍
What camera are you using for the video?
Thank you my friend

What about Fuji caméra?

Very good god bless you free
Hello my name is qasimarif you me free
Thank you, German Brad Pitt. This really helped!
Where is Sony @6400 ?
ZV-E10 is better, cheaper and uses the same sensor. So I won’t recommend the a6400 for video.
@@pascalbasel I'm ready to buy @6400 bt confusion !
what can I do right now?
Hi Pascal thx for a great video, really explained it well. I'm starting out on video and on tight budget. From your video I understand that 10bit, 4k and builtin stabilisation stand out as least for me, but what would you say is more important 10bit or 4k. As I'm unemployed I need to buy the right camera to film with to teach myself editing
I think if you want to learn editing then 10bit is more important because that gives you more flexibility while color grading!
I have 300 whats the best for that price
Phone or a used camera
Canon C70?
Excellent video! I appreciate you! You got a sub plus like. Thanks.
Waiting for A7 iv
Could you please tell how to get rid of the crop, is it by changing the lens or which would be the best Budget lens for zv e10 . Please tell 😊
A7SIII Vs. A7IV?
Depends on what you use it for...
@@pascalbasel for creating RUclips video like you.
Then a7Siii
@@pascalbasel May I ask, any particular reason why you are recommending a7SIII over IV?
Also is the kit lens enough for the RUclips setup or you are using any other special lens for sharp Video output and Shallow dof?
great Video 👍 when you compare S5 and XT4 what's the better option for video in terms of lenses and colors?
Xt4
@@felixlechat1780 S5
why on earth does EVERY camera crop the image at 4k 60?
you really need to spend an extra 1000€ or even more just to get rid of the crop.
What about a6000?sony
Can’t recommend it anymore. Many better cameras in that price range.
@@pascalbasel such as?
A7SIII, The FX3 is pretty much the same camera. OH! except for Better grip, tally lights, Top handle, Audio, 6 pre-set buttons re programable, Zoom, Cage, Cooling fan, Record button, quality finish, camera strap fixing, Yes Shure pretty much the same. LOL.
best cameras for 2022 is the Z9
For some people yes

@@VIDEOVISTAVIEW2020 Bro, all I wanted to say is that there is no best camera. There is only the best camera for a certain user. For me the Z9 would be too big, for others it's perfect...
