SO THE WINKLES HAVE WRIGGLED INTO A CRYPTO PICKLE.

For those of you calling Dan the "Twinklevoss" twin, you are not the first nor will you be the last
Fourst
Second
Dan is hot and should never be compared to winklevii
An aging twinklevoss*
I know someone whose had dealings wt them who calls them the twinkletossers
Dan keeping himself hydrated during those interviews
Paused to check if it was the death lemonade (it’s not)
journalism is thirsty business
Keeping me hydrated. Based on how wet I am.
Awesome hydration job
Need vodka when hearing this shit, it's like breaking up with a chick you never knew you were with. Her parents hate you and you only fucked her father once and a half times.
How can someone be so careless.
Good work? No, no. Great work.
The Winklevoss Twins really said: “‘The Social Network’ needs a spin-off.”
dude yes
Hope you make another new year video
immaculate observation
How about “The Implosion of the Twinkie Twins?”
The Crypto Network
Both the information and joke density in this video is STAGGERING. Had to pause multiple times. Best deep dive yet!! Great work
Agreed 🙏👏👏👏
GOOD Work ☝️🤓
Great video, but I was hoping for more of a focus on the music. Please tell me that Mars Junction is still solvent.
No, this is Patrick
When awesome recognizes awesome.
Leave it to Patrick to come and try to start going on music. That’s why we come to your channel dude. 😅😅
@@GoodWorkMB No Patrick, mayonnaise is not an instrument
I use the opportunity to thank you both for making my life better!
These winklevoss guys seem pretty smart, they should make a website
Fr, something in the realm of networking with others in the same campus .
I’m sure they can find some nerd to help them make it
They should write, I mean make, a book
😂
Too soon 😭
I absolutely LOVE the format in which this information gets delivered to the viewer. The background research and accuracy of finer details are supremely impressive.... but that's not even the best bit. The way Dan always undercuts himself by ridiculing his qualifications or inserting juvenile humor in the midst of a serious conversation - that is the "genius" element of his unique format. It's packed with more info than a typical CNN, WSJ, etc. news article, but never bores or alienates the viewer into thinking that he/she does not belong to this esoteric world of high finance.
The more I learn about Finance bros, the more I realise how all of them are the same unimaginative people. They all end up just doing an MLM, mostly targeting poor and desperate people.
Its crazy how its almost always the same exact thing, same exact guy(s), same promises, same outcomes. The only thing that's sometimes different is a few extra intentionally overly-convoluted steps to the same outcome.
It's like how every tech bro ends up with a revolutionary new invention typically known as a train.
I used to work for a bank (as a data analyst). The managers are all dishonest arseholes that only cared about getting rich. You have to be a special breed of psychopath mixed with narcissist to work at banks and finance companies.
"That's just what poor people that don't understand DeFi say"
~FinBros
the reality is that "finance bros" are just investors that failed. if there was some reliable way to tell based on the manner of the sales pitch if someone is pitching an investment you should be interested in vs one you should not be, then that would be exploited by fraudsters too. the lesson is that people who take "holier than thou"/"it's just an MLM, right?" attitudes towards crypto bros are trying to understand why some of them failed and some did not, which is not too distant from being a crypto bro themselves. just own it lol
Thank you Dan as usual for always keeping us updated on uninteresting tech-drama
I love how your channel is actual reporting with jokes and memes. You truly understand my needs
I love how an off handed joke in the social network has led to many people calling them “the winklevii” in casual conversation
This is the closet I’ll ever get to watching the news, thanks Dan!
Dan’s cup of Dunkin’ continues to be a recurring character in these interviews
Twinklevoss?
Don't do that to the twinks, they've done nothing wrong
Nah too Roblox Face for that
*Twinklevii
They are more like reverse himbos.
So original
now I realised that Gemini is named this way, because it was founded by twin brother
Genuinely great reporting once again. Come for the jokes, stay for the Pulitzer
I assume that this kind of content was always the goal for the good work channel, its just surprising seeing it get this good this fast.
"The Winkelvii" sounds like some sort of evil sci-fi hive mind race
This show might have the best editing team in comedy. Research, reporting, writing, all fantastic, but hot damn this editing team wraps it in a beautiful package and then beats you over the head with it
the winkels having a thinkel got me fkn good
Dan pulling out the velvet black gloves and Gordon Gekko vest combo for the Winkles.
"Different company, sounds the same" is fucking wonderfully executed.
Thank you for affirming it's okay to be confused because, you know, I dunno
Such a missed opportunity to say "Gemini winkles, Genesis tinkles" at 5:53
This doesn’t really make sense though?
I love this style of investigative journalism. Come up to The Bronx.
This sounds like a threat
@@MarylandResident no just a friendly invitation.
"the Winklevoss have called for heavy regulation on the crypto scene" *flash back to SBF in front of the Senate calling to regulate crypto*
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. Had just the right amount of funny snark. Good job @Goodwork
Amazing job as usual! Very well done!
Well, you can spell "loss" with "Winklevoss"
OMG, didn't expect this masterpiece before the end of year! Keep up with the good work, Good Work!!
GOOD WORK WE LOVE YOUR WORK. HAPPY HOLIDAYS MR QUIFF MAN
This reporting is so on the street that you can see a guy closing his rear hatch door. Great Work
"it's OK to be confuse" lmfaooo put it on a shirt
Love it. Can't wait until the whole scam comes apart.
Barry is the last of the major crypto scam kings standing. Do Kwon, SBF, CZ, and Mashinsky have all got got. I think his turn is coming, since NY regulators are after him at this point.
Whenever there's a victim who lost 5 or 6 figure savings sums on cryptocurrency, I really wish the interviewer would ask what the hell they were thinking. Like putting a bit money in hoping to strike rich, I understand, but putting enormous life savings in is something I just can't comprehend
They promised single digit returns, which while high won't make you rich unless you put the maximum in
@@tomlxyz I mean in 2021/early 22, Gemini Earn would have been generating higher yields than junk bonds. You have to know that there's a high level of risk associated with earning that level of interest, even if Gemini is waving it off. It's not FDIC insured, it's not safe, and it's not a place to park any amount of money that you could not afford to lose tomorrow.
When someone claims to have lost something like 100k I want to know whether that means 'paying 20k to the fraudster and being promised 100k' or 'actually giving 100k to the fraudster'.
@@tomlxyz
8% is way higher than risk-free returns: you could only get these returns with some serious risk-taking. So I would definitely want to know *how* someone was investing my money.
@@sd-ch2cq with 8 % interest it would take 21 years to get from 20k to 100k.
Whatever someone put in, it can't be multiplied by now because the program didn't exist remotely as long
6:05 That cup loomed over Dan's shoulder like a machete-weilding maniac
I miss the iPhone camera, can I get some “RIP in peace” for that era!
Appreciate you Dan and team!
When I was a freshman in college I set up a Bitcoin wallet and was ready to press buy on 10 Bitcoin for something like 50 bucks.
I realized that I wouldn't get an actual physical coin so I decided to buy beer and groceries instead.
If I had been slightly stupider I would have been rich. What I'm trying to say is that we all have a dumb little Twinklevoss inside of us
If only you had 2 they might have convinced you
I mean you though bitcoin was a physical coin, I don't think we're any smarter
I'm right there with you, lol. I was gonna buy some bitcoin to buy weed but I got confused and bored and bought weed the regular way 😅
You would have only made money at someone else's expense though. Crypto isn't able to produce wealth (and actually consumes it) so it's an example of a greater fool theory and functions similar to a ponzi scheme.
think about it this way: what was stopping you from selling at $100?
I have to say, I really love your format of just filming anywhere and not giving a shit about whats in the background and foreground. I quite enjoyed watching that man drag the printer across the side walk. lol
I don’t get how amazingly informative and entertaining these videos are. Nice one
Love the creative nicknames. I've watched all your videos so far, looking forward to many more. You and your editing team seem to have a great sense of humor.
Man seeing you progress is awesome! Found you 14 hours ago and now i gotta go to bed snd get resdy for work. You got me good brother keep it up!
Your channel is the most incredible private investigation I’ve ever seen in my life. There should be a video game about you. Straight up.
thanks for these. You've made an English major care about business beyond the surface. I had to do a backtrack in this one where I saw "lost parents" and I was taken aback... phew. Oh and if you want a small, flaming pile just go to Revere Beach in July.
Did it fail? It made them personally very very wealthy and that was their ultimate goal so I’m not sure you could call it a failure.
hats off to the guy who convinced his gf there's no wedding without spending six figures
i remember that time when these 2 dummies suggested that looking at NFTs of artworks is better than standing in front of those artworks in real life
Imagine if "crypto reporter" was your actual job title lmao
We really need a Social Network 2 soon
Geez perfect timing, go get it dude love from the eu
7:00 yeah if you've got 6 figures lying around and decide to put it into crypto without even reading the fine print then I can't feel sorry for you lol
The copy machine at 11:26 is an unpaid extra
3:14 I can’t stop looking at what seems like a black car carrying a smaller white car. Great video by the way.
😂😂
You are brutally good at these videos holy shit don't get shot and don't stop making these
Managing Money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times, while orders tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too.
My portfolio is made up of dividend etf’s, dividend stocks, growth stocks and individual stocks, it allows a bit more freedom in specific areas with help of an advisor CHRIS RYAN STEWART who I’ve been in touch with over the years before buying any stocks and it’s been working perfectly for me.
Many people underestimate the importance of advisors until their emotions lead to financial setbacks. I recall a couple of summers ago, during my protracted divorce, when I needed a significant boost to keep my business afloat. I conducted research and found a highly qualified licensed advisor. Chris Ryan Stewart has effectively increased my savings from $220k to $740k, even in the face of inflation.
Thanks for this tip. I just GOOGLED his name and his website came up right away. It looks interesting so far.
I just sent him an email.
Cryptocurrency is the perfect framework in which we can clearly see the difference between knowledge and wisdom.
Knowledge says an 8% return on investment is incredible, wisdom knows fraud is somewhere down the chain and you'll be lucky to get back 8% of your original investment.
The Winklevoss twins seeing facts then going to the Genesis guy wanting to be sold and soothed on why reality isn't reality is ridiculous. The buck at Gemini absolutely stops with them whether they like it or not.
this is not a problem of cryptocurrency but these exchanges like gemini, ftx, etc
finally someone with proper apostrophe usage
Are we just not going to mention the guy moving a whole office printer on a new york sidewalk?
You had me at “Winklevii".
Why didn't that guy just pay for his wedding with his 6 figures?
Must be some wife!
@@aznluvr7 No kidding.
@@JoshHenderson16HEYOOOO! Up top brother. Women, amirite? Keep it fresh for me!
Jokes are on point in this one😆 that drink in the interview...
keep the good work lad
Great job exposing them.
"the winkles had a thinkle" oh my god
Man the writing is sooo good on all of your vids. Do you write all the jokes yourself, or do you get help? Amazing production. Funnier than most sitcoms nowadays
11:24 why is the guy rolling a printer through the street lol?
Sometimes you just gotta roll a printer through the street
*Good Work is the new Jordan Klepper.*
Crypto Industry motto: "Trust me bro, this time it will work" 😂😂😂
Hey Dan, it is perfect that I got a gemini ad on the youtbe video. Plus another crytpo exchange ad. Man this is great lol
I hope they can prove that half-assing compliance is still better than no-assing compliance.
wonklewoss are actual literal cryptobros
They don't make elevator music, they make I am in the toilet having diarrhea music.
Bro your comedic timing is so good) I wish you had much more views as you deserve them. Greetings from Russia
there is 0% chance any of the victims will get their money back.
"The Winkles had themselves a thinkle" -- great line.
“J and Crew”😂
I really want a good work and channel 5 cross over episode
You've perfected a discount daily show feel....
I have found my lunch break RUclips channel. I’m content.
These videos are also content
It's messed up they're being targeted for being so handsome and cool :(
Just watched that Uber guy series/documentary show whatever it is, here I am binging NYC standup dude. Solid work bro
I really like the four books on the cube top in your interview area. Shows how smart and up to date you all are...
The jokes in this piece are the best yet lol
This editing and delivery - so fucking funny
You're essentially impersonating Coffezilla in this vid, and I kinda like it.
The Winklevai is sending me
They really are very smart.
Investing in companies who invest in companies that invest in companies that also invest in companies that make software no one asked for.
This is my first video of yours and reckon you’ve got the potential to go big like Dan Olson did. Great writing, good style and sharp editing. Only thing I reckon will tip you over the edge is either learning your script or having it beside the camera scrolling. Just some constructive feedback because I like your vibe.
The famously chill Armie Hammer
These two are a great argument against generational wealth. When was the last time a rich kid created innovative technology? It's always someone born with less who has the drive to build something new.
The SEC does not file class action suits on their own behalf they do it on the behalf of consumer's who otherwise could not afford to do so. People have a right to have their cases heard, and if they decide that they don't trust you to claw their money back for them when you were the one that lied to them to begin with, then that is not counterproductive.
Mr. Toomey, what you are doing is great. Please, keep on
Thanks for making this video! I got a good laugh. I have to remember that I’m not the only one that got scammed.
loved it, crazy! thanks for making these type of content!
Love ya too, Dan
