Cyclades Sailing - Episode 5 - Naxos to Iraklia

It is the morning after the last night in Naxos port. From now on we will only anchor. Fresh water, provisions and the batteries are replenished. All maneuvers are discussed in advance. We have a tailwind and are making very good progress. But suddenly the fore sheet gets stuck in the shrouds and we are no longer manoeuvrable. The problem is quickly resolved and the stressful situation is overcome. We continue sailing with only mainsail and soon find ourselves in a lull in the land cover of Naxos.
Under motor we enter the bay of Livadi on the island of Iraklia, where crystal clear, turquoise water rewards the efforts of this day's sailing. The anchor is excellent and we spend an enchanting full moon night at sea.
