I have both pairs and I do prefer the shape from the 1.0 Chicago’s, creases look much better too and they feel better on feet IMO. Funny that my breds which are version 2 does not have the embossed jordan wings logo and the red parts look darker red :(
The red on the 2.0 breds is rather darker than the chicagos when compared side to side. This is just how retails are, so I don't mind much, even if I do prefer if it were the same.
I really like the 2.0 more than 1.0. The leather stiffness is so much nicer to me. I disagree with what you said for the reasons you said, funnily enough.

I received my version 2 bred pair and they look different from these. Red leather parts are much darker and there is no debossed Jordan wings logo. Can you confirm why? Thanks
Im a 11.5 do you think i should size up or down on these?
I recommend your regular TTS. If you have ever tried a pair of 1s on, these 85's fit pretty much the same.
If you absolutely have to go up or down a size, I would obviously recommend going up 1. Better to have to tighten the laces a bit than have your feet hurt daily.
I'm seeing in multiple videos that the perforations/holes in the toe panels are not centered. Such a small detail to be screwing up while getting so many other things right. Hope they start correcting that. I want to order some of these but am not sure because that detail would bother me.
Hadn't noticed that myself, but my toe perforation holes look fine to me.
All in straight lines, since it's done with a machine.
If minuscule details like that are dealbreakers for ya, idk what to say to ya mate.

Various personal reasons, but the biggest is freedom & financial.
Being able to work from home mostly, and having a bigger paycheck, make all the difference in life.
