I'm so happy that the hero 1 car wasn't seized and crushed like the Big Bird R33. It's weird that a country that loves cars so much doesn't think twice about seizing and destroying perfectly fine (and safe!) cars

People keep saying Craig is milking the FF franchise for videos but I don't think that's true. It's more of he's the only guy on RUclips with the firsthand knowledge to make these videos and is trying to let us know everything he does.
lol this is not milking at all. He’s giving us the real info of these cars, not the bullshit you read elsewhere. On top of that he shows us footage we would normally never see. His video’s are basically mini documentaries

I think it's a necessary evil for him to do these very in depth videos, as he can therefore point the thousands of fans over to his videos instead of bombarding his DMs.

Fast 4 was always my favorite one. Most modern F&F that still had Brian trying to play the cop life.
The FF4 Skyline is easily my favorite movie car of all time.
They could have ended the movies at Fast Five with most fans being happy.

@@ReplicantBattyman Seven would have been a good ending. I agree with that one too. As far as just for car guys, though. The laws of physics got ridiculous with the end of Five. Plus it was the last one that actually included modifying cars.

I did watch 6 and 7, but I refuse to watch the series after Paul's final appearance.
I only watched that one part of F8 because it just so happened to be on TV.
@@germaineliew2012 the fifth one is acc a very good movie, it’s almost like a bridge between the more realistic movies and the insane f7,8,9 worth a watch and would of been a pretty good end to the franchise

Pretty underrated car in the series and even Fast 4 is an enjoyable movie with some good moments
The skyline from #7 is in a museum in pigeon forge Tennessee I see it about 4 years ago I'm glad I got to see it they have all kinds of movie cars there they have a Ghostbusters car and lots of different fast furious cars
I do wonder if these museums maintain them, like an oil change and a drive every once in a while.
According to the special features on the Fast 4 dvd, Paul Walker himself suggested the Nissan Skyline GTT which was only $13K at the time of filming versus the extremely expensive R34 plus the Skyline GTT's in the Fast 4 movie were only RWD which made the car easier to drive in the movie in terms of drifting and sliding camera shots. They were not AWD like the real GTR was in the movie.
As at the time of filming gtt’s could be had for far sell than 13k

Kaizo R34 is my favorite car in franchise. Clean, fast and beautiful.
The amount of work, and knowledge you have to put into those videos is unmatched.
Back when I was a kid, I was so delighted when I saw the GTT cluster! not gonna lie i feel proud knowing the difference as a kid :D! Because the stunts the car did very much looked like a rwd car aswell.
5:08 I kinda like the GTT cluster over the GTR cluster. Ngl.
If they don’t even care about watchers knowing the difference between gtr cluster and gtt, I can see why they don’t give a crap about how far the movies have deviated from the originals. With the true enthusiasts wanting things back how they originally were and not all these heists and brand new stock/boring cars with paint jobs. I.e. mark 5 Supra, challenger and chargers.
Paul Walker was part of the vision they're making now. He's been down with the heists since they started and he's the biggest enthusiast in the cast next to Sung Kang.
i didn't even care that it was GTT. the fact that it's a skyline. And F9 ending so, gg!

I saw the hero car in Munich. It is on display in Motorworld which is free for everyone to enter. Totally made my day!
i went to the hollywood star cars museum, in gatlinburg TN. I personally saw it up close, & took photos. his eclipse was there too.

This was the last movie that focus on cars, races and custumization. and the Movie was great writing! The story was good and the series maybe should ended her, the nex movies are good but ... is what we know....
this GTR was so good, and the scenes make us like it more. The Scene that the car make downill and Brian say: "Sorry car" show the conection of the driver-car that the characters had in the first movies. ... and that made the movies spechial too!
now they use any car, not hero cars, just some random cars to make the stunts and action....
my line is at the fifth after that you can trash them all

This and the 2 Fast Skyline, top of my favorite's.. Will you ever go over the prelude to 2 fast 2 furious? I would love to know the story on the GTR Paul find's at that little dealership he purchases with cash, was that really the same one and then repainted to silver, or it's own Skyline and they used another for the race scenes?
That 19x11.5 is a mad wheel size for an R34. They must love that sound of the inner guard being torn up by the tire on full lock.
Get proper offset wheels and it's a non issue
@@scootbmx01 Doubt it. Unless the steering rack is limited somehow. 19x10.5+15 scrubs and thats the offset that Nismo recommend for the R34 with their new model LMGT4 GT3 spec wheel.
@@iswinkels I haven't got experience with the r34, but maybe he ran staggered or used wheels outside the offset recommended
@@scootbmx01 Cant run staggered without frying the center diff. The difference in rolling diameter really upsets the Attessa system and results in expensive repairs. I'm betting they just replace the inner guards every service!
@@iswinkels you absolutely can if the diameter is within a certain tolerance. People do it all the time in various awd cars that aren't a locked 50/50 split.
People get the cars mixed up because they're simple-minded they see a color and they immediately assume and they don't understand how movies are truly made, also Paul had a 2 Fast 2 Furious Skyline in one of his lockups and merely assumed again that it also was from the movie when indeed he bought it from his buddy and made it look like the one from the movie, a replica, why society annoys me, so simple minded just like the comment section 🤦♂️

Ryan who owns car number 8. R34_ff4 is an amazing guy! Spoke to him a few times about the car. He has shared a few details about it being in the movie and such, honestly such a lovely guy and has done a lot of work restoring the car and having it be a full GTR conversion

I have several Hot Wheels of the all blue GTR...even those are worth about $25 a pop already and they just keep going up. I say keep making movies, movies make fans, fans drive prices..keep them coming.
I believe I came across the black stunt car at a car meet in Chicago way back in 2014 I even have pictures of it still too.

To be honest Fast 4 was my favourite one cause it still had what made the original 3 so good and it had a bit of JDM and the last proper race scene in a fast and furious movie and it shows brian modifying the GTR.

I seen one of the skylines at rustys television and movie museum in Jackson Tennessee. Also one of the eclipses from the first movie at the same place.
A few years back I actually got to see Ryan's car (car 8.1 shown in the video) and take photos of it. This was when the car was still setup like the movie cars and it was an amazing opportunity.
I have to say Fast and the Furious movie from 2001 was Paul Walker and Vin Diesel and the other Fast and the Furious movies that came after it give the impression in us petrol heads add gearheads I really like all the scores and I'm glad that those people out there saving them play all the reason why we also build custom drift cars just try to enjoy cars for what they are I just want to say thank you for giving a epic show and I really keep up the good work and kudos do you Mr lieberman
They clearly used a GT-T in Fast 9's ending scenes and yet it was called a GT-R.

One thing that makes no sense is why using a vw bug for one scene where the car goes basically down a steep hill when the rest of the scenes are green screen? So 80% green screen 20 % real scenes
