a little hello from Belgium, your work is very very interesting and very beautiful, I am my subscriber and this with much impascience that I will attend your next videos on youtube. Many thanks for this kind of video very interesting to me. Thierry
Fantastic sketches! I grew up constantly drawing cars. I’m looking forward to picking it up again and maybe developing my own style like you have. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
So glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with getting sketching again - it'll soon come back with regular practice - and a style will develop by itself. I did a film on it... ruclips.net/video/rK3cCiT17co/видео.htmlsi=3poztx7QPF91BAXr
@@StefanMarjoram A good revelation to me was your use of the ‘Ellipse Guide’. The perfection of that front wheel is striking and wonderful! I’d also like to see how you “tidied up” that rear wheel.
@@StefanMarjoram aw, man... I've been totally blown away with the Rat build, everything about Bryans videos is spot on.... And yes a musician... Introduced me to music I didn’t know I liked! 😂😎
@@JohnnyJalopyArt It was just a brief trip up the road - but it was great to be able to experience it after having watched it come into being in the films.
Superb. I really like your style. Did I notice your drawing of the famous GN Spider built by Basil Davenport? I've been watching this car compete for 60 years!.
Thanks Peter - well spotted. A few weeks back I spent a lovely few days photographing, filming and drawing Spider. The photos were for an upcoming article in The Automobile. Here's a film of the longer sketch I did... ruclips.net/video/Reww6vnYTDA/видео.htmlsi=DLiJSKOV8b7aq6yL
@@StefanMarjoram 10 days ago you were a stranger to me, now I keep seeing you on F/book and now at Prescott with Brian and Ivan Dutton! At one point on Brian's feed you were standing next to my brother!
Nice video and sketches. Having been drawing old cars recently with my watercolour class it’s funny that this came up on my feed. Great things to draw, with all kinds of ‘tests’ for the draftsman. Thanks for posting. I’ve posted a few of mine of INstagram @vin.jelly _ also sketchbook work though I used coloured pencils and biro to draw with. I like the way you’ve pushed the perspective.
So glad you liked it. The measuring refers to the old artists trick of holding a pencil out at arms length and sliding your thumb up and down. you can then use that measurement to compare the size of one thing (usually the front wheel) to another - or to measure the length of the sides etc. Here's a quick demo... ruclips.net/video/4Xow-Ijkhic/видео.htmlsi=CdXHUZRnBhtFuLBo&t=158

Amazing. Definitely requires a true artist's touch and vision. Great work. Looking forward to more examples.

Genius artist, great guy.
He has amazing energy doesn't he? I'm amazed how quickly he gets stuff done :)
what's not to love! Two of my favorite people. Would have loved to picked up his Rat, but it wasn't to be.
So glad you enjoyed it - I had a great time - I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot more of him :)
Stunning car and stunning sketch

Hi Thierry - so nice to hear you're enjoying the films over there in the magical land of fabulous beer, chocolate and comic artists :)
My thoughts entirely. Brilliant car and brilliant sketch. Well done to both of you. I love hotrods!

Great video. It was a real treat for me because I like both your sketches and the car :-)

Aside from your beautiful drawings, you have a beautiful and calm voice. I hope you are well
