Boy, do I remember this. It looks even stranger viewing it today at 50, but when I was 25 this was just captivating entertainment. Really shows the frame of mind we were in as young people.
Things were far less connected back then therefore influences were fewer and farther between, the social and technological (by association) environment was more conducive to independent thought/creative development. I do miss that feeling of experiencing newness, like an assault to the senses. Everything is predictable these days and not simply because I've grown older, everyone is on the same page or at least in the same book it seems... viral, trending, buzz words and phrases reducing the language to mantras and the mind into fewer and smaller boxes!

Oh man I'm so happy to see this cartoon again nobody remembers this cartoon every time I try to explain this cartoon ot people it sounds like I'm explaining a fever dream I had and for some reason I never looked this up on RUclips until now. Butt- Head's cameo was hilarious, and they actually did the reverse as well, having a 'The Head' reference on an episode of "B and B": I forget the episode, but there's one in which there's a scene when they are in class, and we can see a male classmate of theirs wearing a "The Head" t- shirt.
@Geisha Peach me too, I'm glad the taste of modern garbage hasn't dulled everyone's senses. That being said, I can't live in the past as much as I miss it, I see the need more and more to find enrichment from within, and hopefully draw out some more satisfying means of interaction with others... we all need to escape the blandness and banality.

I stumbled onto The Maxx the other day and had to re-wire my brain trying to figure out if this was part of The Maxx or if it was its own separate thing.

The analogy is so severe it hurts. Being too intelligent is a personal demise, as smart as you get, happiness goes away including bullying or lack of acceptance by others. When you release the hate in that particular situation, it can be a lot of evil. Can also mean for humanity, misusing discoveries for shady deeds, or literally hiding discoveries for personal gain.
Literally haven't seen this show since the 90s lol. Looking back, even though Liquid Television was short lived Cartoon Network's 'Adult Swim' pretty much ripped off their whole gimmick. Off the wall, 15 minute cartoons that are funny, vulgar and my mother yelled at me for watching both. Dr. Axl looks looks a grown up Beavis.
The funny thing is there is no episodes that reveals why his head is so ginormous. Roy lives in his head, but it doesn't seem he uses anything else but that tiny portion of his head.
