  • Watch Part 1 of Angelica's Story: • Angelica's Colorectal ...
As a working wife and mother of 2 young children, Angelica chalked up her constant exhaustion to her busy lifestyle and anemia. She then started getting irregular bowel movements and a loss of appetite. After an ER visit, she was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer.
After recently learning she was all-clear after a 5-year cancer journey, Angelica shares her story with how a plant-based diet and exercise routine helped her overcome chemo, and how cancer led to her reconnecting with herself.

I've spent my whole life eating healthy and exercising and I still got cancer. So I don't think you can totally blame it on your bad diet and that you're cured by eating well. Many of us have taken very good care of our bodies, all our lives and it still happens.

That's too true. Jenny Apples on YT is a vegan and still got lung cancer and has been going through it for the past 3 years.

@@BreezeWithAfrica She's not the only vegan with cancer, and there are carnivores who have healed themselves with diet. Many doctors and researchers recommend ketogenic diets--like Thomas Seyfried and Jason Fung.

I know that know that. My point is eating healthy or not you can still get Cancer. My dad died of Colon Cancer and he didn’t eat healthy. Also you can get cured depending on how far the disease have progressed.

I am sorry to hear that, I hope you’re doing well know. In my opinion the point is not about eating healthy food can prevent cancer recurrence, but is about how good you can live during your journey(full life) by doing anything is your power❤

I've really learned a lot from your stories. I am 1/2 way through my chemo treatments for breast cancer. I'm a 64 year old grandma of 15! I have fought chemical depression all my life, plus being overweight all my adult life. You definitely gave me a lot of things to think about! Thank you for sharing your story, and I wish you the very best in life!!

First is healing in you're soul by having a relationship with God like she did, and changing you're diet is a very important part too❤

Thank you for sharing your journey. These people that made negative comments- I'd be willing to bet they are atheist and did not pray to God for healing in conjunction with their "healthy eating" like you did. God bless you my sister in Christ. Sincerely, Brother Heinz

Eating healthy and exercising is always a good thing but I am not sure it plays much of a roll in cancer treatment and recovery. I just watched a close family member, the same age as you, go thru stage 3 colorectal cancer. Treatment included two major surgeries (both quick, full recoveries) as well as 12 rounds of chemo over a period of 9mths. Her diet is awful and she is not very active, yet she made it through everything better than most while raising three children ages 4-9. I am shocked by how well she has done because I always believed healthy diet played a major roll in healing and now I am not sure. Maybe there is more hope than most people would assume for successful healing amongst those who find diet and exercise changes difficult (mentally, financially, or for other reasons), or who may even be resistant to change for other reasons.

Thank you for sharing your journey, I wish people can understand how important food is to healing our body. I am 65 years and try to stick to plant based foods. I am still running and walking. I never get sick, last year I had flu, none this year. I haven't completely changed fully to a plant based diet. I have to thank my son, who went vegan and lost 44kg and maintains a healthy weight. For the first time in my life, I am in control of my weight.
