I was waiting for more details about your process the response and from the different offices you came in contact with. How did you get the jobs, did they just give you a try a kept using you, references too other companies, or people called you back after you reaching out. Etc. I wanted to get my notary commission for extra money for my family and a growing child, and in my research I came upon notary signing and that has always been my end goal.
I found out about the notary/loan signing agent business via @LetsJazzItUp on RUclips and began thoroughly researching the matter and kept hearing everyone talk about this Mark guy and I couldn’t figure out who the hell Mark was. I just so happened to run across this channel and it wasn’t until this video that I realized THIS IS MARK. “There are no such things as accidents”.

Ok I would love to know how she exactly approached signing services to get that kind of business in the first place. I already completed the LSS course and just signed up in last maybe 10 days to about 175 signing services.So far I only had one company send me a few offers I didn't respond fast enough because my log in wasn't automatic so it's a tad of a learning curve with responding fast but the last 5 days its been crickets nothing.So I'm just curious does this process take a few weeks to kick in and do I call signing services to introduce myself after I've applied? I don't want to be annoying. I know Mark what you teach about escrow/title but I want to start with services first. any advice would mean the world to me thanks.

Mainly, of course for extra income and I have a current California notary commission I have not utilized or capitalized. I have a few questions: 1. How does a loan signing agent typically receive payment (check, wire payment, etc.); 2. Do you have to claim taxes on your payments? 3. Also from your, RUclips of an example signing you went over what looked like the closing cost - that can seem confusing do you cover that in your training?

Got my confirmation Yesterday am......I have to print the Oath of Office get it Notarized and send it back. And I get my Commission and authorization to get my stamp made. Then I get to quit my horrible day job. I'm gonna hit the ground running. December is my Official start date...Or what I am shooting for....Oh and I too am in Portland Oregon.....

I have only worked with signing service. Wondering if you go direct do you only sign in office or do you still go to signers homes? That's the best part for me is being in their home with them.

Hi Mark. I am a Canadian resident lives in the province of Ontario. My professions are Commissioner of Oaths and Paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. I was wondering whether can I take a training course for becoming a signing agent and get certificated in a state of the U.S.? Thank you.
you can absolutely take a training course to be a signing agent however the biggest hurdle is getting a notary commission in a state you want to be notary in the states. Are you planning to move to the states?
I’ve been marketing calling title companies sending out email signed up for all of the notary platforms still no business what am I doing wrong someone please help me
I promise you.give it time it will come. It took me 3 weeks before 1 signing then slowly it happened. Now I get at least 6 text a day for signing or calls. Everyone journey different but keep pushing.

At first it was all emails, over the phone, word of mouth. I would drop off documents locally to the drop off boxes at title companies after looking at the settlement statement and seeing that the escrow office was local, meet EOs at Starbucks, etc to drop off documents to them. I did whatever it took. So even with social distancing I was making my presence known.

Got laid off from my current job due to covid 3 months ago and collecting unemployment benefits. Since then i start doing loan signings and making good amount of income a week but some of the checks comes in like 2 to 3 months late. My question is should i pull the cord from unemployment? Yes they do!! Banks do not lend to people who do not have jobs-meaning most home owners are not available to sign their loan docs until the evening or weekends. Making this the best business that works around most other jobs! It is the best part time business because of that!
Does this work in Kentucky? I talked to a realtor and asked him if he ever heard of a loan signing agent and he said no he normally goes over the paperwork with them then a lawyer signs for free. So was wondering if that works in Kentucky. I’m in northern Kentucky close to Cincinnati

The short answer is yes! The long and honest answer is it may take you longer. While the meat and potatoes of the course is only 6 hours-but if you have never seen reverse mortgage or a HELOC (home equity line of credit) it may take you a handful of times to get through those modules before you move through the course! I was waiting for more details about your process the response and from the different offices you came in contact with. How did you get the jobs, did they just give you a try a kept using you, references too other companies, or people called you back after you reaching out. Etc. I wanted to get my notary commission for extra money for my family and a growing child, and in my research I came upon notary signing and that has always been my end goal.

I found out about the notary/loan signing agent business via @LetsJazzItUp on RUclips and began thoroughly researching the matter and kept hearing everyone talk about this Mark guy and I couldn’t figure out who the hell Mark was. I just so happened to run across this channel and it wasn’t until this video that I realized THIS IS MARK. “There are no such things as accidents”.

Ok I would love to know how she exactly approached signing services to get that kind of business in the first place. I already completed the LSS course and just signed up in last maybe 10 days to about 175 signing services.So far I only had one company send me a few offers I didn't respond fast enough because my log in wasn't automatic so it's a tad of a learning curve with responding fast but the last 5 days its been crickets nothing.So I'm just curious does this process take a few weeks to kick in and do I call signing services to introduce myself after I've applied? I don't want to be annoying. I know Mark what you teach about escrow/title but I want to start with services first. any advice would mean the world to me thanks.

Hi Mark and Meghan, thank you for this information! Mark I recently viewed your free seminar and I am interested in investing in myself for your LSS paid course. Mainly, of course for extra income and I have a current California notary commission I have not utilized or capitalized. I have a few questions: 1. How does a loan signing agent typically receive payment (check, wire payment, etc.); 2. Do you have to claim taxes on your payments? 3. Also from your, RUclips of an example signing you went over what looked like the closing cost - that can seem confusing do you cover that in your training?

I have only worked with signing service. Wondering if you go direct do you only sign in office or do you still go to signers homes? That's the best part for me is being in their home with them.
Hey Mary, yes you still get to go to the signers’ homes. I’ve just started doing office signings here and there as things open up bit by bit but majority are still at the signers’ homes.

you can absolutely take a training course to be a signing agent however the biggest hurdle is getting a notary commission in a state you want to be notary in the states.

I promise you.give it time it will come. It took me 3 weeks before 1 signing then slowly it happened. Now I get at least 6 text a day for signing or calls. Everyone journey different but keep pushing.

I do want to know how are you talking to escrow agents if they may not be allowing you in their office at this time?
At first it was all emails, over the phone, word of mouth. I would drop off documents locally to the drop off boxes at title companies after looking at the settlement statement and seeing that the escrow office was local, meet EOs at Starbucks, etc to drop off documents to them. I did whatever it took. So even with social distancing I was making my presence known.

Got laid off from my current job due to covid 3 months ago and collecting unemployment benefits. Since then i start doing loan signings and making good amount of income a week but some of the checks comes in like 2 to 3 months late. My question is should i pull the cord from unemployment? Does this work in Kentucky? I talked to a realtor and asked him if he ever heard of a loan signing agent and he said no he normally goes over the paperwork with them then a lawyer signs for free. So was wondering if that works in Kentucky. I’m in northern Kentucky close to Cincinnati

How long is your course? Is it something that I can finish within 1 week?
The short answer is yes!
The long and honest answer is it may take you longer.
While the meat and potatoes of the course is only 6 hours-but if you have never seen reverse mortgage or a HELOC (home equity line of credit) it may take you a handful of times to get through those modules before you move through the course!
This is a real business, that pay really well because signing agents have extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry-all things that can be taught if you are willing to take the time to learn!
