At Stevenage, many HST's, 225's, 180's, 365's, 313's, 317's and a 321 were seen along with 66175 on 4E32 Dollands Moor - Scunthorpe and a Volker Rail tamepr flying south. At Peterborough, an East Coast HST passes a NXEA 170 as it heads to Ipswich & the GEML, GBRf 66403 passes through light engine heading south, and DBS 66046 arrives with 4L05 Wakefield Europort - Felixstowe.

Greetings from Baltic states! These British trains are truly great! I especially liked diesels (those with a loco at each end).
Wow! I was born in stevenage, lived in knebworth now living in peterborugh! Thank you, best video so far!! :)
@CeTrains thanks! Yes, I got a few questions:
1) power of a diesel unit (in kW or hp)
2) constructional speed
3) what is the speed limit at this station
4) what is the length of a carriage here? I wanna calculate the speed :)
Fantastic!
@suncoolclose I am asking that merely because there's a huge difference between such a test being run with the locomotive alone and the same locomotive with a couple of carriages. So I suspect that the diesel unit was tested alone, because of the tilting problem you already mentioned. Anyway, that would be the wisest way to do it, since then the loco can be easily compared to it's 'competitors'.
@suncoolclose how many carriages and of what total mass the locomotive was pulling, when the record of 148mph was set?
great vid
nice one man
