One of your best, if not the best, vlog ladies! Thank you for bringing that beautiful place (and weather!) into our home. Roll on the days, not long to go before we’re back there, and yes it’s onwards and upwards here as the vaccinations speed on. Loved the Italian music (it sounded Italian anyway) with the pizzas and of course the vino! La dolce vita 👍
Love a bit of El Cotillo. Last time we were over had a late beach day and ended up watching a wedding by the lighthouse. A lovely sight. And with the kids, no ongoing ice cream requests as nowhere to get them. Self sufficient beach days rock. Roll on 18/08 fingers crossed back on Fuerte'.
Waouh it’s just wonderful🤩 I know very good El Cotillo. I stayed in this village a few monthes in 2016 and 2017. There you will find all what you want ...long beach for walking for surfing. Caribean beaches with white sand for swiming. The sunset is beautiful and there are good restaurants . It is quiet. Betancuria is also pretty in the mountains. I like also Lajares. The volcano Calderon Hondo waouh!!! For me The best is El Cotillo🤩💚💚💚💚💚
Can't believe how quiet El Cotillo beach is, lovely to see our favourite swimming pool though, spent many a day there. Keep up the good work Ladies, great to keep in touch with our favourite holiday destination.
I have never been to Fuerteventura but it’s a joy watching your updates so I would definitely like to visit the island .Cheers both .Your videos are a little ray of sunshine .
A nice, cold glass of "Dorada" on the beach; how we miss Fuerteventura and particularly, El Cotillo, our favourite place on the island. We've never stayed there but it's only about a half hour drive from Corralejo. Thanks for the video - really enjoyed the memories!
Loved the video! El Cotillo is also our favourite place - missing it so much. So envious of the pair of you right now but glad you are enjoying yourselves and appreciate you sharing a bit of it with us.
Thoroughly enjoyed that video ladies. El Cotillo is a special place ... the town, the harbour, the surfing beach and of course the lagoons. But you got me when you went to Torino's beach bar ... been there many times, and it's where I had my first ever Canarian Potatoes! :) xx
Ditto,it brought memories flooding back of sitting at that beach bar. I also loved the canarian potatoes,do you know what the sauce is called that is often served with them? I cant remember, its an orangey colour, so delicious, never been able to find it anywhere else.
It's hard to say. We love Betancuria but equaly El Cotillo is lovely too. We sat by the harbour & little birds came up to us for food. We had a lovely meal at the seahorse. I think is was British owned. We also found a little back street cafe where a nice coffee was 1 euro. We always take lots of pictures & video's of the places we visit. So tonight 1/3/2021 i have just rebooked for me & Bev for the 14th September after having to cancel April 2020 & April 2021. We booked flights with Jet 2 . The barcelo beach bungalows as members of Barcelo club, so a nice seafront apartment overlooking the Caleta Marina. Nearly booked car hire with jet 2 & then remembered your car hire video that i had saved. So will book a 14 day hire with Autoreisen as you recommended. We usually only get a car for 3 days per trip . This time a full 14 days, so we will travel much more. I bet there is a sight that me & Bev have seen that you 2 have not. It was way back in 1998 i think. It was the American Star liner wreck about 10 miles south of Ajuy. Regards from Steve & Bev.
There’s supposedly a bar in Puerto del Rosario decorated with wreckage from American Star. Will have to see if it still exists! Glad to hear you’ve booked for September 😀
Hi Ladies. Excellent vlog as always. We loved El Cotillo when we visited there. The beautiful little restaurants, serving exceptional fresh food. From what I can see of your home it looks lovely. Saturday night is our pizza night too, all made by myself, nothing like your own I say 😉 Have a great week, and stay safe and well 👍
We love El Cotillo. We stay in corralejo but always hire a car. We found an amazing restraurant called Olivo Corso. Amazing tapas. Looking forward to going again soon. Love your pizza oven.
Olivo Corso is a great place. They did a lot to support the local community by offering free meals to those in need during our lockdown last year too 👍
Hiya, Great video. Always great content. Beautiful scenery. The food looked tasty. Oh, I could quite happily sit on the beach and just listen to the waves all day. What a lovely day. Your pizzas and salad looked lovely. Can not believe how quick they cook. I love pizza with salad. Thank you for sharing. Have a good week. Take care.
It’s still so quiet, just a few tourists from Germany, Belgium and Spain. Seems as if the hotels expect it to get busier from June onwards so hopefully people will be able to enjoy a holiday again this year
