I have a lot of Stampin Up stamps and dies, and when I was shopping on Temu yesterday I saw some of the same sets in their catalog so I ordered a bunch of them to see if there the same. all under $5 for both the stamps and dies is a crazy good deal. Seeing this video today makes me think that they are definitely the same sets/different packages. Thank you

Wow, you did your research on this. I wouldn't need stamps or dyes but your advice is solid. I've seen things advertised and thought "let me check Temu". Same thing, same quality but WAY, WAY less. I hope folks listen to you.

I boycotted Stamping Up after seeing how they treat their distributors. They are completely unfair to the people who sell their products and dictate what they can and cannot do on RUclips. I hate that. I will never buy their products again. But I must say that I try to avoid buying knock offs simply because the art is the intellectual property of the artists that created it or of the company that commissioned it. I don't buy it, but it wouldn't bother me if TEMU and AliExpress put Stamping Up out of business.
I called about my order (months back) and I was on hold for over an hour...finally hung up called back was on hold for 45 minutes GAVE UP, hung up and after emailing the consultant and getting NO response from her either I called back to CS and finally they answered me and helped me with my issue....to say I was disappointed was or is putting it mildly....I also decided I am not joining after all....thank you and thanks for watching, XO from Texas

I love Stampin Up and Tim Holtz products but both are only worried about lining their own pockets. They have gotten outrageous
The SU dupes are a lot thinner than the actual SU stamps but they stamp well. I’ve noticed that Temu had a couple of misspelled words on the SU dupes. Definitely a game changer for me. I will continue to order from Temu until I feel like the products are not worth the hassle. I just wish the shipping was faster.
I am OK with a tad thinner if I pay less and remember which I forgot to say.....they can not be totally exact as I am sure they (SU) has exclusive rights to the exact product...thank you and thanks for watching, XO from Texas

Just want to say i have both temu stamps and SU stamps acrylic stamps from temu are not great compared to photopolymer stamps from SU but i will buy from both companies to stretch my crafting budget

Thank you for sharing. I would normally wait for Hobby Lobby to put their dies on clearance but now HL doesn’t carry dies anymore so I’m looking at Temu for dies now. I’ve bought knock offs from AE before. There is a difference but it’s not a deal breaker for me.
I agree I am not saying they are an exact dupe however they are pretty darn close and if you are not turning around and selling your goods for profit and you use for hobby what is wrong with using the dupes and saving the coins?? I don't think the stamps will last as long, but I don't use the same stamp too many times. I make cards for friends and family, and I don't use the same one twice for the same person. By the end of the year, that expensive stamp is out of rotation for me, and I usually sell it on eBay. I get more variety on Temu and rotate more into my stash. I can then donate the stamp. I've found the dies really good, a bit thinner, but good cutting. In my country, we don't have a craft industry, it's all made in China anyway, so I'm just getting it cheaper from the same country. I brought some layered stencils in my last order and they are great.

All the dies and stamps may be made in China, but Temu does not use the same materials or make them up to the standards as the brand name companies require of the products that are produced in China for them. The Temu knockoffs use cheaper metals and the stamps don't make clear defined images or hold much stamp pad ink. I still would buy from Temu if I like the die and don't need the dies to last long, as in your case.

I saw on temu some stamps do come in that plastic container like you would get if you bought from stamping up. The stamps and dies from temu work great! Easy to move and clean!

It would be interesting to know what Stampin Up dies would cost if it wasn't an MLM. I think by now everyone knows how inflated MLM prices are. It makes me angry because MLM's preys on women promising them a good income but you have to sell your soul to be successful. Even then it's only a very small percentage of people that make any money.
Yes! I received a lot of name brands since certain paper companies cut down our papers from 24 to 16 raised their collection prices to 80.00i rejoice finding it for under 3.00 at Temu

Looking at the bigger picture. Why would craft supply companies e.g. Stampin Up, Tim Holtz etc continue to pour money into product development and bringing to you new and innovative products if they are going to be counterfeited and sold on Temu. These companies will go out of business and disappear along with the jobs (development, marketing, office workers, distribution, demonstrators, cleaning staff etc), all supporting the US economy.
Temu is not going to spend money on developing new products to inspire you to keep crafting.
They're not going to pay you commission when they are marketing on low price.
By buying excessive amounts of this cheap stuff, all you are doing is becoming the middleman betweens Temu and the landfill.
At least with higher prices we question ourselves as to whether we really need the item.

Nah look at the apple developer with iPhone touch screen VR and various platform etc… Samsung and many others have benefited from their research and we are able to afford the higher tech at lower prices. they will never go out of business
Actually they could go out of business. The scrapbook ing industry has been hit hard--some of the biggest paper makers have already gone out. I wish these companies would make their stuff in America. I wouldn't mind paying more if I knew the products were made here. I think Stephanie Barnard (Stamps of Life) makes her stuff in the US and her prices are reasonably priced.
There are more than you think made in the USA. Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts are 2 of my faves and both are made in the USA. I think Altenew also. =)
@KisforKaren how did the perform Ive been looking at a few on Temu. Interested to see performance/a review on how well they stamp and cut. I know I have in my cart on Temu dupes for Gone Fishing, Darling Details, Circle Sayings, and Irresistible Blooms. I have found a few on Amazon too and are in my cart but almost no reviews. Can you do a video showing how they work or examples of pieces you’ve done with them?

Exactly, I am trying to find a youtube video that shows the stamps quality difference. Are Temu stamps as clear as Stampin up. Are the sizes equal. I have heard Temu stamps are smaller in size and not as clear as Stampin Up stamps. Also, I have heard the dies from Temu don't cut as well as Stampin Up. I wonder if any of that is true. It would be interesting to find a video that shows those things!
You are informing people how to save money. Why would someone spend over $50 for stamp/die when you can purchase it for less than $10 and free shipping?
You would know why if you bought the name brand and the knockoff and compared them. And the finished product you get from a brand name quality die or stamp looks more "professional" than one made with cheap dies and stamps. The embossed parts of knockoff dies bought directly from China are not deep and clear as on the quality name brand ones, so the embossed textures, usually an important part of the design, like the weave on a basket, doesn't show up on die cut, even if you use shams. The metals on the knockoff dies are thin so the edges do not cut nice and sharp, and the dies curve out of shape and won't lay flat after one use. The knockoffs may have pieces that are the wrong size: it is very frustrating when you buy a knockoff purse die and the handle is too small (that happened to me). Most knockoffs are usually smaller than the original. And the clear stamps, forget it. Rarely are they even worth getting them for free. The images are usually light and thin because the grooves on the stamps are not deep and the edges are not thick so they can't hold stamp die ink. I don't buy expensive dies, but I buy cheaper name brands when they are on sale. I don't buy often, but I go for quality when I really like a die or a stamp. (Ever bake a cake with margarine instead of butter, and used imitation vanilla instead of vanilla extract? That's the difference. )

Not all of know there is a difference. I see plenty of other Temu buyers expressing their disappointment with the cheap quality, especially that of the tools with blades that barely cut, and the defective dies. But I agree, some items don't need to be top quality if they do the job.@@KisforKaren
@@rcelestefelix9299 Some of us can't afford $50 for stamps and dies lol. I do buy a lot of Tim Holtz items, but I can't afford to pay $20-$30 for dies, or for stamps. I'm sure the quality is a little lower but if that is all you can afford. I support name brands when I can. I occasionally buy Graphic 45 when I have money and find a good price on ebay, but then I'm scared to use them because then they won't be in my collection all together to admire. So I buy copies on Temu which are never the complete set but I'm able to cut and play with them without fear.
Someone from the same state I live in hacked into my account using my name and her address and my phone umber with her email. Temu did clear it up. Happened March 24. My cart was empty and more things were there which I deleted. I called Temu right away. At least you can talk to someone. I think she is the same person that got into my Aliexpress account which is being credited now. This has been a nightmare. New cards and email change. Just please check your cart all the time.

The stamps are the same as stampin up but the quality is not even close. The few stamps I have purchased don’t hold the ink. The ink either beads up or won’t even adhere to the rubber. If by chance you are able to stamp an image the images are not crisp they are sort of mushy looking.
as I stated in several videos if I was using them to make items to sell I would NOT use these stamps because how would I be able to ask so much money for my handmade items using TEMU stamps however for the novice, hobby user they work well enough and I do not make items to sell at craft fairs so I am fine using them for what I use them for...also like anything in life to each their own, do what makes you happy and buy what you can afford and what you feel good about and do not worry about others, XO from Texas

I shop at Temu for a year and their stamps are great. I dropped all the other places I used to buy stencils and stamps. Stencils are under two bucks and they come with a little envelope.I have shopped for stencils here in the USA and paid seven bucks per stencil and there was no envelope with it. And the customer service is awesome.

Does anyone have a trick to condition the clear Temu stamps? Mine do not accept ink very well. it is "spotty" . I tried rubbing the stamp and wiping it before inking. Is there another trick???? TYVM

the stampin’ up ones I rub on my arm first to get the shipping stuff off. I have tried that with the TEMU ones but nothing works. Even when I put them on a stamping platform and stamp multiple times it still doesn’t work. So buyer beware. The prices are a fraction of the price but you get what you pay for.

These knock off stamps/dies are not as nice as the real thing but to each their own. =)
I quit SU for MANY reasons but most of all, I don't support MLMs and THEY ARE an MLM...gotta support those uplines!!
first i would like to say that no not all the stamps are made in china and a little research will tell you that for instance Stampin up make all their stamps , ink pads. and cardstock in the USA..therefore the designers and manufacturing is all money thats stays in your country, only their dies are made overseas,. and no the quality is not the same i have used two sets of "dupes" as you call them and they are silicon which 1 doesn't take the ink as well, and 2 doesn't give you a crisp image, spelling mistake was noted on one set and smaller images on the other set. I understand that some crafters are happy with that. "Temu is committed to environmental sustainability".... this statment is to be questioned also, they are phasing out coal here yet all our coal goes to china for their hundreds of coal power stations ... ours are getting shut down yet china are building more, I think I would prefer to support the original designers and manufacturers of the product and not those that blatantly steal their work.

the difference in quality is the key. i have tried ordering the cheaper versions, but the quality is poor. sometimes the dont stamp properly and they can be so thin and flimsy you have just wasted your money. if its a design you really want, then buy the quality one. how legal is it anyway is something to think about

They have also ripped off Tim Holtz designs
