I was lucky enough to see Brian open for Bob Dylan in 1998ish (?). Brian and his orchestra blew the doors off the place. It made Dylan up his game, which he did. And Brian joined him for a couple of numbers to close the show. One of the top 5 concerts I’ve had the privilege to see.
Wow! I wish Brian was there when I saw Dylan in Perth 🇦🇺 2018 ish. Dylan was THE rudest act I've ever seen. I've loved him forever but no more. You get one chance at a first impression. No hello or goodbye and played behind a screen. He just walked off. I didn't even recognise any of the bilge. I'd turn up late if Dylan was the support act, the arrogant 💩
@@PH_1964 I saw Dylan for the first time in 1978 and I had the same reaction. I saw him later in Dallas, Tx ten years later and he was better. 1998 was the best I’d seen him live. Haven’t seen him again live. I quit while he was ahead.
@@jorgejohnson451 Hi Jorge, you know whilst waiting to go in at RAC Arena, I got chatting with a group of three couples. They each had a story of satisfaction/dissatisfaction. A couple said they were being "dragged along". I felt dread but they advised me to go in with an open mind. This is my natural outlook. I was devastated as he was on my bucket list and paid higher end. Only to watch people leave in droves. I stayed hoping upon hope for a song I grew up with but nope! Then he just off. There was no interval even which was misleading for a great show. Actually, he just needs to pay his tax bill and we were irrelevant. So offended!
This concert was probably 20 years ago before Brian drank and smoked himself an extra 10 years of wear. Even with that he's still one of the worlds best guitarist and phenomenally talented ,we should all feel privlaged to see him in any way possible .
Eddy Cochran les vois du ciel et ce dit les Stray Cats les meilleurs qu' elle incroyable hommage qu' ils me font. Ce qui est génial ces que Brian interprètera eddy cochran dans la le film la bamba .
Never seen Lee Rocker play a regular electric bass . I am saving this one thanks for uploaded it . Brian has a different do in this one shaved above the ears. I remember that Lee had a problem with the double bass in the travel to Japan, he always bought a seat for his instrument, but. he had a problem with that, and the instrument finished in the cargo hold, and broke, of course.
He played an electric bass during the La Bamba promotion concerts also. Personally, I think their performance during that MTV special is the best rendition of Summertime Blues they've ever done.
In my opinion, Brian Setzer is the greatest guitar player in the world!! There isn’t anything that this man can’t do on a guitar!!
Blue Cheer did this in 68. It was one of my favs
I cant believe listening to the depth of the music that there's only three playing.
❤ the best
