yeah. they litteraly started from the bottom. what more harder is that, PPOP with Korean inspired was never a successful genre in PH. only SB19 break that stigma that a filipino cant sing and dance at the same time with precision and awesomeness
I saw that traumatic presscon and that was when I became an A'TIN! I was cringing with those unprofessional questions they asked #SB19 but also was impressed with how the boys handled it. Tatang Robin actually stepped up at one point during that debacle to shield #SB19. I'm sure he was upset too. In that presscon, #SB19 gave a stellar live performance of Go Up and Hanggang sa Huli, cementing my being an A'TIN 😊💙💙💙💙
All the members can pretty much understand Korean and they can speak above basic but Pablo learned korean at KCC way before he became a trainee so he is on advance level of Korean, said by their CEO. He even makes rap verses in Korean, the other members also replies in Korean whenever they talk to their Korean staffs as much as possible but they mix it with english ofc.
Thank you Ladies for reacting to this short docu-series about the Boys. It's heart- breaking watching that interview, how they were treated like that. 😔 Now, you understand why A'tin is very protective of them & want to help them in achieving their dreams. It's because we feel that they deserve it after all that they've been through. 💙

Before A'TIN was announced on November 2, 2019, there was an unofficial fandom name called "AURUM" the Latin word for gold and the source of its chemical symbol, "Au".
Aurum is not a fandom name but a group of people supporting SB19. Before SB19's debut, Aurum already existed. It was misunderstood by fans so Aurum was spread and called as SB19's fandom name.
☆Meaning behind our "A'TIN".
A'TIN "There's no 19 if there's no 18" ATIN means ours. AURUM'sb9TIN
There is an apostrophe ( ' ) after "A" in A'TIN. Sejun said that Aurum will never die and it will be forever in their hearts so they put an apostrophe after A remarking Aurum in A'TIN. The meaningful AURUM is still part of our fandom name and A'TIN without AURUM is actually nothing. A'TIN becomes more meaningful because of AURUM. That is how thankful our SB19 is. They know how to look back where they started and humbleness in them never fade. I am proud to be part of "A'TIN with AURUM" or "A'TIN without S"

I could not finish watching the infamous interview that was featured here. It was so heartbreaking to listen to the questions and comments made by the reporters. This was done when P Pop was just being introduced here in the PH and it was SB19 that bore the brunt of the birthing pains so to speak since they were the first group to debut then. They were labeled as copycats (even up to now, sad to say) of K Pop, not being "Filipino" enough and even their visuals were attacked. But fate has a way of turning things around. True talent and the right attitude will elevate those who are meant for greatness just like in the case of SB19. I became a fan of these boys because of this. Btw SB19 has been chosen as youth ambassadors of the NCCA (National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Ph which is "the overall policy making body coordinating and grants giving agency for the preservation and development and promotion of Philippine arts and culture") and the face of Sentro Rizal since 2021. I love your RVs, you two are fun to watch :)
