Chinese President Xi Jinping visited France, Serbia and Hungary from May 5 to 10 as part of his first European trip in nearly five years. The trip was of great significance to the overall development of China-Europe relations and is expected to inject new impetus into world peace and development. CGTN interviewed experts and residents in neighboring countries, such as the UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and Spain about the significance of the Chinese president's visit to Europe. In Spain, a law student named Lorenzo said that the visit will strengthen China's ties with these countries.
