- A Dance of Fire and Ice Part 3 - It's Neo Cosmos time, this sick DLC has a ton of new gimmicks and mechanics that add great variance to the classic ADOFAI formula. Not to mention some absolutely banger songs as well.

Tyler being edited onto the Muse Dash Girls was something I was not expecting today
You can't really predict what the intro edit will be :D
Tyler is all
when tyler here
@mouykaing7456baba is you
The return of the greatest thumb and space bar player in the world. I didn't expect to see Adofai on this channel again.

i didn't expect to see a fellow persona fan on an adofai video
He’s still speaking while playing with his thumb and spacebar, he’s too strong for us mere mortals
As soon as Tyler got past that disappearing section first try, I realized that his skills are beyond my comprehension
I actually think that one is easier than it looks. The rhythms it throws at you are extremely basic
@@Patashu Yeah it's basic, but the fast notes are on a different beat coming back so it's pretty easy to get tripped up by. Definitely easy after you get it once though.
It's a lot less confusing without the visual effects it normally throws at you, to be fair.
@@MyzticF Yeah it is a lot harder with visuals.
Plus he has all the camera movement stuff disabled so A LOT of the minigame stuff was nerfed
It's only now, after playing the whole Neo Cosmos DLC myself, that I realize Tyler didn't even have the VFX on.
19:50 "finally I can relate to it" that was the best joke I've heard this year! Laughed so much and I'm at work hahahaha
It also got me.
wait I don't get it T.T
@@Aelinbunn He said he could relate to the thingy now having 3 balls, thus saying he himself had 3 balls.
So, if the red and blue balls are fire and ice, what is the green one?
@@aidenwallin3523 🤔
absolutely delighted to see one of my favorite puzzle game youtubers play one of the most creative rhythm games (and dlcs!) again! if you like what the dlc does, you should check out notitg mod charts! taronuke directed the dlc, he's massive in the modcharts community (and even through in some easter eggs during no hints here!) it's a feast for the eyes, i can tell you :)
7th beat games make amazing rhythm games
indeed they do!
it will be quite the boost in popularity if he ever plays NotITG thats for sure!
i think he'd lose it playing notitg lol
Absolutely love the edit at 18:46. Looks like Tyler is no stranger to cheating at certain games.
Wow those tutorial sections make great cliffhangers, showing you what WILL be there, and how it works, but just a tiny amount.
I think you meant "appetizer". "Cliffhanger" really doesn't work here.
@@avasam06 There is a theory that a good cliffhanger should give you a hint of what is in store before it happens to build up more suspense and anticipation.
@@avasam06 Well yes, but the one at the end of the video certainly was a cliffhanger
@@avasam06 Possible, I contemplated using "teaser" too. Felt cliffhanger captured the thirst for more better.
I love how T3-X is essentially a rhythm game Wario Ware
I got this game and got through almost everything in the base game now. Glad to see Tyler tackling it!
What do you mean "tackling"? Tyler is curb-stomping this game into the ground...
@@gitterrost-4 friendly reminder this is heavily edited. And I have completed full base game with time trials, Xtra worlds with time trials, both initial muse dash levels - still working on it, and all of neo cosmos, still working on that as well - in a little over 20 hours.
@@TheGamingLegendsOfficial Yeah I know that (though the way it is edited makes it seem *really* impressive). It was just supposes to be a cheeky compliment. :-)
oh my god the thumb-lord is back! 🙌
but on a serious note, super stoked to see another video of you on my favourite rhythm-game
(if you ever wanna get 'deeper' into it - you're welcome to hit me up, we have a lot of people in the community in every skill-range and also mappers/charters)
Yo that climbing with trills level sounded sick af
fun dact: that teleport section you did was way faster for you than for a professional player that has 1000s of hours, GammaLoop
Third sun is such a banger song can't wait for Tyler to play it
Did not expect to see a TaroNuke chart on Aliensrock
Fun fact: the dlc for this gamewas leaded by Taronuke, he is famous in rhythm games. (made maps, did concepts, and most notably - Mawaru series - a minigame rush collection for stepmania and not In the groove, similar to "No hints here!") He is also the creator of the map in another rhythm game, Arcaea (Vivid theory, future difficulty), and it frustrated me because I couldn't perfect the said map!
taro is insane for putting mawaru in adofai, i love this DLC.
This is completely different from the base game and your normal content but I’m fully for it
Tbf it’s a bit puzzle-y-er compared to the base game, and Tyler usually does puzzle games
different level designers entirely
Did not expect to see more of this game but I'm so glad it's here!
The amount of joy these adofai videos bring to me is immeasurable
kinda sadge that some of the level vfx was disabled since imo, those are pretty much what bring life to the level, either way, pretty banger video!
god after playing through the slumpages so many times it's so jarring to see the normal charts without all the effects LMAO
i love the songs in this video. the concepts work so well with this music
especially that one long song
the effects are really cool in this set, I recommend trying them with them all on at least once just to see what it's like
This is so cool I don't think I would have ever knew about that dlc if you didn't upload. Also those house shaped tiles have fried my brain into oblivion because I'm used to seeing the orbs you play as attach to the tiles so when they don't all my brain cells die
That clock-like thing near the end of sing sing red indigo is called a Polyrhythm. That's why that last tutorial for it is called Polyrhythm Midspins.
these characters look so cool!! id love to see more ADOFAI episodes
Something I didn’t realize until just now, is that in T3 “no hints here”, the occasional signs in the background aren’t actually your distance like I thought they were but the BPM of the part. I even double checked with a metronome
As someone who has played a fair few rhythm games before, I always find holding down the correct input usually being fairly easy when compared to something like timing since I start to get overwhelmed by too much inputs on screen
Tyler putting himself onto random characters at the beginning of like every video brings me great joy
9:28 oh my god it’s one big Mawaru reference
Wow, I did not expect minigames, lore, a whole treasure trove of creativity in these mechanics and visuals. Great watch!
This is such fucking creative level design - wow
Hearing the music for the Tricky Triangles 2 section gives me PTSD because I was stuck raging on that part for what felt like an hour...
This game is so creative! You can just see the artist think about what he can do with all these rhythms, very cool!
OMG YES MORE ADOFAI! And I can't believe you cut us off with that cliff hanger xd
Comment for algorithm
I refuse

I really love this game, maybe you should consider turning full visual effects for a better experience, it gets more interesting.
I love when Tyler references one of his other series while playing.
6:06 - that music is SICK! 🤩🔥
The rhythm at 8:10 is a 2-3 polyrhythm that was in a tutorial level before btw
The new intros are hilarious😂
Neo Cosmos, the best DLC in any rhythm game! Let's gooooo
When the game's tutorial mentioned using two fingers, I completed not only the tutorial, but also the level while using only one button/finger. All out of spite.
Would like to see you complete EMOMOMO with one finger
(unlock requirements: beat the speed trials of both Muse Dash island songs)
@@Patashu Okay, lemme update the game first.
...Wait a second, aren't you the guy that made that one library for beeg numbers in idle games?
@@TheAstralWitch Must be some other handsome dragon called Patashu, of which I'm sure there are many.
@@Patashu Oh, okay then!
18:45 Oh, the Card Shark reference. Gotta love it.
"I hate cubicles" good to know man
Tyler: "I won't be reading because I can't talk today"
*Proceeds to talk normally during entire video*
16:36 giggity
6:34 I know those sounds those are samples from Earthbound the Ok Desu Ka? from Your Name Please and the humming from The Cave of the Past
Dear god why is there a THIRD CIRCLE!
In all seriousness this is awesome. I really want to get this game.
The legendary thumb and spacebar user vs Hold notes
5:50 that background looks delicious (cgol)
I really hope he at least tries the hard versions, I really want to see his reaction to 2-ex.
2-EX yes please
It probably won't have the intended effect on him since he turned off some of the level VFX, namely the camera movement, in the options
dont forget, there's still more to see in the base game! (im not talking about world B)
Very fun episode. "I heard your suggestion about using multiple fingers - but it's just a suggestion"
Yoooo I was excited for this lol
19:49 this got me wheezing
Dont get distracted is a whole lot more jankier when you have reduced motion turned off, it goes full mawaru on you with how things move around, which would suck if it wasnt a straight line.
Speedy tiles without the glitchiness is fairly easy
That was utter chaos. Also where is part 4.
5:37 Woah, what is the blue circle doing.
18:45 Suddenly Card Shark!
Imagine if 2 circles got promoted over you
YOOOO!!! neo cosmos :D remember there’s a buncha bonus levels
Man always so cool to see you playing ADOFAI ngl still kind surreal heh
It’ll be even more if you do rd
“ I love having three balls. “
-Aliensrock 2022
Okay, I'm jealous. Tricky Triangles 2 was a _nightmare_ for me.
18:42 highly subtle card play
I am very impressed how good tyler is at this game via his spacebar
Looks interesting
It feels like all the effects are less powerful than before. Look at Almost there! don't get distracted! for example.
I wanna see the raw, unedited video tbh. I don't like how stuff is cut out.
20:00 They're actually planets, not balls.
I know it's for the *funni* but still
No, They’re Orbs
Can I just mention that in the thumbnail math bit, math rock plays
T2-9 one of the BEST songs in this vid
Day 763 of telling Tyler that he never finished his minecraft series and that he should finish it.
NOOOOOO, not math!
Also interesting photoshop of Tyler saying "Hey guys"
Tyler should finish it
Day 723 of agreeing
haha math go brr
Day 450
My phone screen just went up and said I ain't working anymore
Imagine not having rhythm math puzzles

WarioWare: In the Groove
*what do you mean "In the Groove" is already a game*
tyler seems to really be enjoying adofai
Cant wait till they add Through the Fire and the Flames to this game
The moment I got to the clock in T2-X sing sing red indigo was when I knew aliensrock *HAD* to play this. T3-X only made it even more obvious
Ayy, I knew the DLC would make for great content. This is definitely getting a _thumbs up_ from me, heh
If it makes you feel any better, you're as far as I am, and I've made custom levels for Rhythm Doctor, the other game (in progress) by 7th Beat
Turn on high quality. It makes some drctions harder in No Hints Here
8:10 clock jumpscare
he's now the Witcher
3 balls and 2... yeah
7:16 the effect on tyler. Gold 😂
Holy crap, this is really impressive
i wasnt ready for mawaru/wario ware-esque
Welcome to A Dance of Fire, Ice and Grass
i would love to see rhythm doctor. It's and adofi share some developers, and it shouldn't take too long to complete but is very fun
Fire, earth and ice, wow.
Dude, give Don't Get Distracted a shot with visual effects on, some of the challenges come from the visual effects and sorta make the parts trivial without them.
You got a harder version lol
In speedy tiles there was a glitch effect and the screen was twisting and turning
In don’t get distracted it was also harder version
Sick
Tyler is slowly becoming more of a god gamer as we speak.
"i cant do math and rhythm at the same time" -Tyler, world 12
This dlc is nuts
Never thought that would see muse dash here
Jimmy three balls!
there were quite a few references to the b levels and free level packs in neo cosmos, it's sad to see the fun little refrences you're missing because of not playing everything else first because of the new dlc, glad to see you are liking it though
Are there a lot of references? The main one I know of is the drunk rhythms pig is a reference to 'Third Wave Flip-Flop but whoever made this level was drunk'
@@Patashu Charley makes a comment in relation to you already knowing about midspins in the sing sing red indigo tutorials if you have completed PA-X beforehand
@@luigifan4585 Ooh! Interesting.
I've also heard that if you go to NeoCosmos VERY early, there's alternate dialog where you get told you're not ready yet and to go leave, but you can do NeoCosmos in spite of that.
It'd be interesting to have footage showing all alternate dialogue.
