  • In this episode Lance Reenstierna & Tim Pilleri talk to Mike & Sarah - the former owners of the infamous A-Frame house. The house, located about a mile from where Maura went missing, has long been a subject of investigation. In 2014 Mike & Sarah bought what they thought was going to be their family vacation house, but what it turned into was a real life horror story for their family.

It could have been addicts getting into a fight or even something as dumb drunk boxing. Addicts already stripped all the copper and kids vandalized the place so anything could have happened while it was vacant.

Did she just say that they threw away a backpack along with other debris from the yard? In an earlier podcast someone said that Maura used a backpack as a purse. The backpack has never been found as well as her wallet and car keys. When they were cleaning up the yard they were not aware, at that time, of the rumors that Maura might have been murdered on the property inside the house.
I cannot believe that Tim and/or Lance did not catch that. They usually do not let things slide past them like that.
Ever since I listened to this episode I cannot get it out of my head. I just wonder where this case could of been if that backpack was Maura’s.

I cant believe I never seen this until now. I'm am now convinced more than I was before that she was killed there at the A Frame house. I had a gut feeling she was in concrete and I'm no psychic but my premonitions haven't proved me wrong yet. After years of lost sleep and feeling connected to this case I could never shake that house. I woke up at 333 for months with a vision of maura and my mind wont rest until this is solved. Why isn't anyone putting forth more action. Why are we the people so determined but not the family? What's wrong with this picture.. it's so messed up in so many ways. I pray something is done soon because it literally eats me alive.

Surely you don’t believe “we the people” have collectively done a fraction of the work Fred continues to do.
Julie Murray is hella determined and doing everything possible to find Maura before Fred passes.
They jump at all opportunities to be interviewed bc they want to get Maura’s information out.
Fred is STILL searching for Maura.
      Julie is working hard too.

Umm does the Oxygen channel still want to promote the upstanding police force in that town?! All those red flags, slabs poured , blood stains proven to be human, the guys own brother saying there was death in there! Come on who are they protecting there. Is the Claude character related to some one in power, or is there a connection somehow that would make the police want to differ attention from that house?! And if I had bought that house I would never have sold it until I dug that slab myself. I would seriously be digging with a shovel by myself if I had to, to find out if there was someone there. Hell give all the random people that come by to gawk a shovel and make them help! If it's not Maura there someone was harmed there and they need to be brought to rest or else that child wouldn't have heard someone wanting attention and calling her name.

Kathy Petty --- Yep, it all sounds very shady! It's frustrating to see how quickly the Oxygen crew were to trust and defend those police, and how quick they were to basically roll their eyes at a guy like John Smith for being very suspicious of the cops and their "investigation." They seemed to casually dismiss John Smith's suspicions as being the groundless ravings of conspiracy nut, even though his Witness A was proven truthful and correct about what she saw that night, despite the incorrect denials provided by that police department.
Guess what, people---a conspiracy isn't the crazy, impossible thing you've been trained to think it is. It's simply when 2 or more people make plans to commit a serious crime; people are charged and prosecuted for conspiracies every day of the year. But when it comes to people in power, we're all supposed to suddenly assume that it could NEVER happen!
Unfortunately, positions of power can corrupt, and they often attract very bad people who would LOVE to have a job where they can do whatever they want, and then act like anyone who questions them is just a paranoid nut-case. I recently started the Netflix documentary series _The Keepers_, which provides a horrifying example of corruption, evil, and yes, CONSPIRACY, committed by trusted people in positions of power.

    • @SeverynNH
      @SeverynNH 6 лет назад

So Witness A is John Smith's, huh? That's pretty laughable, especially considering that going on 13 years into his "investigation" he had no clue who she was. The John Smith Show has been canceled due to low ratings (and high bullshit).

    • @ModernPlague
      @ModernPlague 6 лет назад +1

Alex C --- Its been awhile, but I seem to recall that John Smith was the main person promoting Witness A's info. Is that not correct? When did she come forward with her info, and to whom did she first present it? Did John Smith only find out about her late in the game? From what I recall, John Smith was the main guy taking her info seriously, while others (like the police) were dismissing it.

The concrete slab gives me bad vibes. There were two local girls who went missing where I am from when I was in middle school, and they eventually found them in a local man's backyard; one of them had been buried in a concrete slab he put on his property for a "hot tub" that never got installed. It does strike me as suspicious. I wonder if the date range of when it was constructed could be narrowed down.

This is a jewel of an interview!
All of the things found at the house from parts of a backpack, odd concrete slab, isolated parts of the house cut out, odd renovations and no doubt squatters camping out over time...sounds like tons of possible evidence!
There are thousands of missing ppl that go off the radar and transients that fall victim to foul play who may never be reported. An abandoned house for years could easily become a little known place where bad things happen on purpose or accident to someone unrelated to the area or known to be missing. I don’t understand how much of this seems blown off by the police. Cadaver Dogs!

I’m aware this is old but I only just found it so here is my thoughts. Between the location of this house so close to where Maura crashed, the idea that Maura may have ran or walked away from the site to avoid getting a DUI and maybe knocked on the house or someone took her to said house, the closet that the dogs hit on and that lit up, the ripped out carpet, old book bag, the concrete slab, the fact that the dogs didn’t track her leaving the area, no footprints found, the short timeframe of the entire incident…….if I were police I would be in that house searching everywhere, doing some search of that concrete slab. This could really be where Maura was killed.

Look at the old pictures when it was up for sale and check out that fireplace picture.. Look at that plastic bag hanging on the door to the right side of the picture and tell me that's not a transparent face of maura on the bag. Call me crazy if you want. Anyway, I just did a google search and found a Boston article from 2019 where NH detectives said they searched the basement and found nothing. But it says NOTHING about the slab. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t think they searched well enough. Surprise, surprise 🙄

I caught that AND "baby toys" and it stuck with me. Depending on how old the toys were/how long they'd been there, this could be something. If some people believe that she ran away because she was pregnant, and whoever did take her (if she was taken) and possibly held her in this caulked closet..she was definitely not far enough along for anyone to tell. If she was held captive until she eventually went into labor (thinking along the lines of Ariel Castro, not a person who took her to kill her), that would definitely spill a ton of bodily fluids--not blood specific, but blood included--wouldn't it??? If the person who possibly took her didnt plan on killing her, but she died in childbirth, he would need to improvise to get rid of the body which would make sense with the concrete slab (not sure how to word this, but maybe the point comes across). But you have to ask THEN, did the child survive? And it must have, if there were toys bought for it, right?? Did the person renting the home at the time she went missing have a child around maybe a year(ish) later? if so where would that child be now and would they be up for a DNA sample? Maybe it doesn't all fit, but that's the sort of thought process that triggered in me when they listed off the garbage in the property yard.

Claude and his girlfriend at that time had a daughter named Morgan Moulton that would have been about 1 1/2 yrs old when Maura Murray went missing. That would also explain the MM carved into the window frame upstairs too as that would be their daughters initials as well as one of Claude's sons and I believe another daughter too.

Wow this is very interesting. It seems like there are human remains down in that basement of that A frame house. I wish theyd give more detail about that backpack if it was a black backpack it was more than likely the one that Maura had on with her. I wish they would get a search warrant and really go back again several times and search that whole entire property. Piss pore of the officers to not even go back several times to not even do that. And it all lit up with luminol so chances are there are human remains in that A frame house. Wonder if that house is haunted. That big slab of concrete is very odd as well. They need to go and check that area out more as well as Maura's remains could be in the backyard.

How about a video of the cadaver dogs ,while they were reacting to the scent of death? don't they usually record things like that? what about pictures showing how the luminol reacted? that would be very interesting to look at. These people really opened up were straight forward and well meaning. i do not sense that they are lying in any way at all. even the part where their one child was spooked. by something strange. the fact that she had the experience before they knew about maura's disappearance. I wholeheartedly believe that she was murdered if not in the a frame house then somewhere very close to her accident site. I don't think she ran off to die or ran off scared into the woods, or that she was starting a new life somewhere else and this route was part of her journey to some new start. I think she left to sort things out because she was having alot of personal issues and needed a break. Someone took advantage of her situation someone with ties to that area. I do not think if she were alive she would continue to ignore her family and torture them this way. after watching further i am a bit disappointed that this couple thought the slab was odd saw no permit for its placement , yet they didnt think to tear it up? I am just a single woman and based on everything they knew i would have been out there with a pickaxe and shovels and bagging up every strange thing i came across. After all they went as far as to spray luminol on the closet walls, so i cant see how they could not investigate even further i get that they are just regular people but the stuff they have revealed is pretty dam alarming and i wouldn't myself let this house go until i investigated further. in fact i feel like hoping in my car and going up to there to tear that concrete up. too bad thats not feasible. i am more convinced tha ever that that a frame house is connected to maura's murder. Not disappearance. HER MURDER

Gianna, my best guess is that yes, videos exist of searches, for documentation, just like videos of crime scenes exist. But such videos of the dog's searches maybe aren't admissible in court. Very interesting interview, but they didn’t speak about one of the most important things.
In late 2004, a man allegedly gave Murray's father a rusty, stained knife that belonged to the man's brother, who had a criminal past and lived less than a mile from where the car was discovered. His brother and his brother's girlfriend were said to have acted strangely after the disappearance, and the man's brother claimed he believed the knife had been used to kill Murray. Several days after the knife was given to Murray's father, the man's brother allegedly scrapped his Volvo.
In October 2006, volunteers led a two-day search within a few miles of where Murray's car was found. In the closet of an A-frame house approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the crash site, cadaver dogs went "bonkers," identifying the presence of human remains. The house had formerly been the residence of the man implicated by his brother, who had given Fred Murray the rusty knife in 2004.
This man is Claude Moulton. Why not mentioning any of it in the interview ?
Also, perhaps some luminol around the closet, like near that weird “oven”, in the bath, sink, etc could give hints?
How can the “lead investigator” of this case didn’t even visit the A-frame house ? In what is he the lead investigator then ? Why did he dismiss it when the 5 cadaver dogs hits in that closet ? Who assigned this investigator to that case ? The fact that at the moment of MM disparition, the house was rented by the knife owner is beyond concerning, since somebody (his own brother) had told MM’s father that he was the killer.

my opinion is think bout it, maura was to be only seen last by the bus driver and the cop ( even though the cop didn't see her they say ) well for me the cop I garuntee was involved NO DOUBT, I say this bc NO WAY something happen to her right before the cop got there, also the cop knows how to do this basically and get away with it ( well better then anybody else can ) so I just don't believe some one showed up before that cop got there, I believe the cop may have raped and killed her, the police force is hiding way to micj, the oxygen documentary where the lady ( forgot her name ) did a great job bringing more light to this case, u can also tell she wasn't believing a lot of this shit, and mostly those guys that did a podcast for her case got a map of exact location with latitude and longitude but told them if u go looking or won't leave this case alone u will be in trouble, my question is why didn't they get the police force to check the location and try to figure out who sent it, and it goes back to the police sounds like something they would do bc they really trying to keep this silent, like I said my opinion but, and as far as the blood they found in the wood chips why wasn't this seen before, I bet bc the police knew bout it but didn't want to check it out, and I believe also the cop that showed up at mauras accident seen wasn't he also in charge of the case?... when they spoke to him first time he is just really shady to me, well these are just my thoughts!!

The cops from the Night Stalker case seized a car that was driven by the Night Stalker. A patrolman pulled him over while driving, after a murder and while he was running the car thru dispatch, the driver took off on foot and escaped.
The car was discovered to be stolen and the LAPD fought to have the car btought to their impound station and have it fall under their jurisdiction for investigation. 6 months later the lead detectives of the case asked for lab results and were told that the car was never examined or tested and they soon found out that the LAPD simply towed the car and abandoned it in an outdoor lot.
After being allowed access, the lead detectives found the most key piece of evidence in the entire case and were absolutely livid that the car was never once searched or tested in the midst of the worst series of murders/rapes in Cali history.
Police depts do this stuff all the time and most depts are not even equipped to analyze important evidence. Most violent crimes are solved because the answer is so obvious. It is rarely because of brilliant police work. Cops are decent at solving crimes with easy motives but they are terrible with crimes that are random and have no obvious answer...
