Nice video! Love that classic cantilever signal, shame the crossing's apparently due for an upgrade. Also love the old WRRS gate mech at the one crossing. The Hybrid bell's also great to see.
@@BNSF2184 Gametrain found the ICC's map for IL crossings, and posted some screenshots in my Discord server. Apparently it's marked for an upgrade on said map.
dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are stoned like me atm you can stream all the new series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last few days =)
Awesome video! Hey bud, I wanted to pass on that I saw 2184 a few times as a kid on the Camas Prairie Railroad in north central Idaho before BNSF sold off the line near me. Although it was BNSF back in 1997-1998, nothing was yet patched in my area, so it was still pure BN livery, and 2184 was no different. Like the other GP38X's that our division seemed to always have, they originally showed up with their original horn mounted above the cab, and were one by one sent to nearby shops and had new ones remounted toward the back between the fans, and I was bummed until I found out 2184's was actually still the original horn, just remounted. I was told it was one of few that kept it during the "upgrade".
17th Street's WRRS bell got replaced with a GS e-bell, still side mounted in the original spot. Saw it while up there last month. Shame, but looks funny.
Great video! I recorded 17th Street when I was up there, you can check my description for signal info (mainly WRRS, WCH, Harmon, and GS stuff). If you want to record it, CP B71 goes through there every day around 10:00am.
CP B73. The 2 BNSF road switchers are about the only things you can count on using it. The one seen here and the other one that is based out of the yard on the left.. But they only use it for head room and if its just lite power they obviously wont need to shove out....
I saw that old signal on vacation to Iowa this summer!
That k5lla on that 1st train was a beast

Whered you hear that? Yes I love the hybrids too!

@Maddux Clayton yea, I've been using InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
I expected the crossing with the old cantilever to be in California. Fooled me, lol.
Great video!
Hi terry
I live in Muscatine, so I'm pretty close.
Those old signals keep on flashing.

@@BNSF2184 When I was here, every morning at 10am a CP local would pass and they said it was B71.
Which is the oldest railroad crossing out of all of those
At 19:31 we have those crossings in calgary
Thelectronic bells are better heard by hearing-impaired people, I believe.
Nice video
"Older Than Dirt Crossing Signal". I was hoping to see a Griswold or a Wig Wag.
@19:32 Very Cool!
Do all trains travel slowly or at restricted speeds in that area?
everything on The IL side does. CP is faster once they clear Yard Limits. IAIS picks up speed after they cross the river.
I am not a fan of the fake bell. I miss the actual bells on those gates.
Some of these crossing signals are just annoying to listen to the constant ringing
