If you do winterberg ship there is an idea I have seen on Wattpad were even though Mother Miranda and the Lord's and Ethan died they were given a second chance in another world were they couldn't go back to their original world. Back in the original world Mia still loves Ethan but she moved on with Chris. That's a little backstory you can add on so it doesn't look like Ethan cheated or something. Also I see the characters sexualities like this.
