It became pretty apparent how bad my hearing is once I noticed other kids covering their ears to painfully loud sounds that for me were tolerable. I'm not totally deaf thank God but I can't be shooting without hearing protection anymore or I will be.

Suppressors should always be used. I have a BP.50 Hawkins from my great grand paw. After popping it off once, Ben using ear protection and suppressors.
That guy is wearing his antlers super high, so its very young, 3-4 years tops. Give it time to spread his genes for that rack its already sporting. Come back in 5-7 years and harvest it when its prime.

Mostly through 1080 poison and culling from choppers. JE Wilds take the meat from every animal he shoots.
In most countries there is a limit in the amont of animals from each species you can hunt per season (to avoid overhunting). People hunt for sport, food, and population control all at the same time. There are some people that don't eat the animal, but they gift the meat to people that do want to eat it (or sell it).

All of the above. In NZ we hunt for food, game management, and sport. Being against any one of those aspects is wasted energy
