Almost, but not quite. I'm still mad at Shonda for doing it. There are any number of ways she could have written Derick off and let Patrick Dempsey quit like he wanted to without actually killing Derick off. See. I'm still not over it.

This was more like additional promises for their post-it. The way they laughed and look at each other. Yess, they were the great love story 💙
The way they looked at each other paralleled the scene from season 1 in the interns locker room, the way they looked at each other when he told her it wasn’t about the chase, and when she said “I’m still not going out with you,” and he replied, “You say that now.”

Aaah. I love this show for still making me hopeful, after all these seasons and all these years.
This episode reminded me why I love Grey’s. There was just a magic that was symbolic of the early days of this show. While Patrick Dempsey was part of that, I think it is just the underlying heart and soul of the episode that was just quintessentially Grey’s.
I loved the ending with Zola and her aunt!!!! And I got teary eyed with MerDer !!!

I think they had to do this before Meredith moves on to see someone new. That’s why they made all her relationships post Derek not work out. This is closure for Meredith and now she’ll really be able to move on but Derek will always be her grand love 😢

The merder wedding we never really got with Meredith and Derek. I lived for these scenes with Derek and Meredith this season. I miss them, and him, so much. It's like reliving his death all over again. It hurt so much when he died and now we know he didn't want to die and leave the kids. Now we know the hardest part for Derick when he died was knowing they were doing it wrong, he couldn't tell them, and because of that, he died.
