Career Journey in Biotechnology with Dr. Livia Wilz Brier of Valitor

Dr. Livia Wilz Brier talks about her work and career journey in this RePicture Making STEM Human Interview by Lisa Zhou.
Livia is a talented biochemist and cell biologist with a decade of experience managing and conducting research projects in an academic settings. She has a PhD in molecular and cell biology from UC Berkeley where she specialized in membrane trafficking. Now she is the Director of Development at Valitor, INC an early stage biotech company located in Berkeley. She was one of the first employees at Valitor and has been instrumental in developing a multivalent biopolymer therapeutic to treat vision disorders such as Wet AMD. Livia is an enthusiastic scientist who is eager to collaborate with other scientists to tackle human diseases.
