Holy moly I used to watch your sorc trixion tests from over a year ago and recently I've also feeling the same way about my sorc. Initially at launch she felt really satisfying to play, huge numbers and unmatched burst at the cost of mobility. But recently I've been feeling more and more meh about her. Even some crit/swift classes overshadow her burst. Shes sitting at 1620 now because she got really lucky with weapon taps so it's a bit of a sunk cost and I won't be switching off her as my main just yet.
Yeah the effort required in playing her isn't rewarded enough and double doomsday just feels bad to play around... They did say they were doing more balance patches so hopefully they do something =)
Good stuff. Love my new Souleater too. I wish Sorc played like her. Hoping for a fat rework/QOL pass to make Sorc feel good again for current/future content.
i started again like 2 months ago, with one character for brel g4, now i have 4 characters for that, one for akkan and 4 for kayangel. got a way to go, but im happy with where ny roster sits now😁
I've been playing with sorc since launch too, and I feel the same way about it, but I stopped it 1580, and switched to aero wind fury a month after launch, and so far it's making me happy playing with it, I created a souleater also and it's cool, but because it's a recent class I'm still waiting for the next patch to see if I'll still use it. And I still pray for a patch rework on sorc.
how do you unlock the wallpaper, looks cool, playing ne souleater as well do you have an opinion about the awakening skills or is it just personal preference
it was part of a package a while back i think... i'm using the one that gives soul crystal gauge on hit. the other one does more damage but since we don't have any specialization it doesn't scale well.
This is so sad to watch. I have 1300 hours and i play since just after launch. When i started i didnt get any XP boosts or used them right because i just started, then the story got boring and i left for half a year just to return back then. Im roster 127 and i just got my main 1580 thanks to the new event path of the souleater. I never played that efficiently and i kinda waste my gold for some skins etc. but its just crazy to me how much the game has changed in the last months and generally i dont think its bad that new people can get to the new content so fast but for myself its really bad and i am nowhere near the new content even tho i have more than 1000 hours put into this game which just seems hilarious to me...
The idea that reflux should have bad DPS bc of survivability with blink is such BS when you compare it to slayer and SE now. It is truly unfortunate how poorly built the utility and dps blend is for both sorc engravings rn. Hoping for a total rework. You've taught me a lot about both igniter and reflux and I'm parking my sorc at 1590 for now. Sadge.
What happened to your artist! I would've supported you for voldike hm if you'd asked xD I feel like there'll be plenty of supports at 1620 personally but we'll see. It seems like a no brainer to push your support that far because its always fun to prog new/hard content on support.
Believe it or not, that's not his main character haha. He'll be busy progging HM on his main DPS. None of my friends will be pushing to 1620 anyways, so I'm okay with just doing a bunch of NM then slowly pushing to HM. If you look at all the Lost Ark LFG discords, it's all DPS trying to find a party for HM. If you have a 1620 support you'll get to play with all the strong + skilled people!
@@arcfaireYeah fair enough! 1620 was a rough push and the first time I've ever swiped for vertical progression in the game tbh. My only real incentive was that its exciting to have a new vertical system that has decent buffs for my support lol. I hadn't check the LFG disc. My priority though is always to find pple that are funny to raid with.. I don't care much about gear/skill cause support can cover that :)

I'd actually prefer them to rework sorceress in a way that doesn't just copy + paste souleater and make her playstyle somewhat unique =)

Well this is 2500 + 1000 hours to put it into context haha but yeah the new player experience isn't great.
So this is a 3500hr roster
2500 plus 1000 does equal 3500 :^)

Yeah, it's kind of silly that FM SE gets to run Raid Captain as a Spec/Crit class haha. Here's to hoping for some attention next patch!

You can probably make bank selling legendary elixirs for the first couple of weeks but most people I know are using them. Good luck on HM!
