Ayala is only good in selling but the after sales service is questionable. They are good in talking but they do not walk the talk. I am a VW owner and I know what I am talking about.
We need strong leadership that would prioritize public transportation instead of the pockets of businessmen who sell cars. Puno na ang kalsada. Malapit na rin siguro mapuno mga tao. Sarap kaya mag train to go anywhere like in HK and Japan.
EV no way! China no way, high electricity charging cost? High insurance for car and your house? Battery replacement cost? Fire risk at home! Depreciation cost?
Most will still choose ICE vehicles bec it only takes less than 5 mins to fill up your fuel tank. Evs takes hours or overnight with the risk of catching fire even while parked in the garage. Only one case of an Ev catching fire in a mall parking area that damages other nearby parked vehicles will scare off those considering purchasing one. Its like burning your dreams.
You have to point out the current replacement cost of hybrid batteries are about Php 300,000. Replacement cost of EV batteries much much more. That makes resale values of hybrids, and EVs very low. Noone will want to buy them.
EV is still too young to be adopted in our market, given the stigma and range anxiety of the range and where it came from. It’s probably best as a 2nd car to roam around the metro, but not as good enough to do hypermiling in the province. I think hybrid is the way forward for the next decade not until a major breakthrough in battery will happen.
Why are businesses in the Philippines installing charging stations that take 3-7 hours to charge an EV? Who has the time or patience for that, especially when technology exists that can fully charge an EV in under 10 minutes? This approach is not just impractical; it’s an insult to Filipino consumers. Stop treating Filipinos as if they don’t deserve better. By introducing outdated or soon-to-be obsolete technology, you’re not just slowing progress-you’re actively contributing to why the Philippines lags behind its ASEAN neighbors. If someone can afford an EV, they most likely value their time and productivity and would willingly pay for faster charging solutions. It’s time to prioritize efficiency and innovation over profit and start offering Filipinos the technology they deserve.
Very unfortunate, the technology that we badly needed is already here but we are too scared to make use of it. Yes to EV, less import of oil (middle east lang yumayaman at nagrarape o nangaapi sa domestic helpers) & less air pollution. Mas tipid sa gas pag home charging lang (simple analogy is using generator vs using meralco). 8 yrs warranty sa battery & 6yrs warranty bumper to bumper compared to 3yrs warranty from other brands. How can we even convince jeepney owners to go ev if private vehicles can’t? Hypocrite pa more
If the point for the EV adoption is to lessen GHG emissions, stop kidding yourselves. a cheaper was to achieve lower emissions is for a more efficient and reliable transport system. Without spending so much money, the country cuts both traffic and pollution.
Google “private vehicles gas emissions is the main contributor of greenhouse gasss”. Its not only in ph but in world kaya nga ban or discouraged na ang diesel sa developed countries eh.
I agree with mass trasport but what can we do if our politicians don’t act. The least that I can do in my own capacity is that instead of buying ICE car, i would choose EV instead, atleast I will contribute in reducing gas emissions in my own simple way. EV cars are now affordable w/ price below 1m. As for the source of electricity, there are initiatives & projects in the pipline to build more renewable sources. Again, in my own simple way i can contribute in reducing oil dependency & reduce gas emissions by buying ev car instead of ice cars.

As I was thinking exactly.👍👍
@@brandonangelodiaz8854 depreciation if you're lucky, i was thinking more like no smart man would buy one brand new what more used.

EVs are the Next Gen. Whether we like it or not 😅😅😅

probably saw that Pinoys are not smart enough to see otherwise.
Ayoko din mag-take chance sa EV fire.
public transportation kailangan natin, hindi EV.
mismo but the thing is the people who control the politicians are in the business of selling cars.

I believe Hybrids that is more sustainable. Less battery disposing issues.
FYI hybrids have batteries.
@TinyBlitz8 correct. May 12V battery din yun ICE.
Tsk. he said LESS battery disposing meaning mas konti ang battery ng hybrid kaysa full EV. kailangan niya ata tinagalog para maintindihan.
Ei, buyers should have at least a garage - moreso a safe garage.

It cost more to maintain .
Omg ph electric rate needs to come down soo bad but I think will win if garage to park at home.
The host keep on interrupting her guest
switch to chinese made evs? nah hard pass
1M 😂😂😂 baka less than 500000
third world country with no stable power supply and no ev charging infrastructure 🤣😂🤣
China pa more
Its A Hard pass Made In China , 😅 dangerous
BYD and Ayala will make that Happen.
Lol good luck! It failed in the U.S. who has the infrastructure. The Philippines should concentrate on the agriculture sector and on the internet.
It's obvious you didn't read the headline. Try again
