It’s usually every song they react to! It makes me lose faith in the young people who will be in charge of music. If it’s not Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jonas brothers they have no clue.
Victor Fernandez // Bigdestroyer Everybody has to know who they are...they have released many classic songs and Freddie Mercury is one of the greatest singers of all time
well, i can forgive them, but only because of their reactions after they find out its queen and you see that "DOH" moment in their eyes, knowing they knew it. ;) Nah, its ok, i can understand it with this song and with "we are the champions" because those songs are all over the world of sports. and in sports, they dont usually say what songs are used :)
I have list for episode 10: Africa - Toto Every Breath You Take - The Police One - Metallica Shout - Tears For Fears Is This Love? - Whitesnake In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins And Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) - Pink Floyd
It's scary how cultural touchstones become fade away and become irrelevant, isn't it? I worked with a 17 year old lad about a year ago who was genuinely surprised that Madonna had a career before Ray of Light when Material Girl came on the radio. Made me feel a million, billion years old!
It can happen lol I mean maybe it's because I'm really into music now but there were only a handful I grew up listening to (my parents listened to mainly funk, soul, and 70s music other than classical and the occasional classic rock from the 60s).
Freddie Mercury would be proud af that Queen's music is still recognized all around the worlds even by kids (watch the Kids React to Queen if you haven't: priceless).
A bit of trivia, in the time it took for Def Leppard's drummer to recover from the accident, and learn to drum with his foot, Wham became popular and then split up. Also, I remember seeing the first concert Def Leppard played in support of their Hysteria album, and they'd tease the drummer by offering him a beer...to the side missing the arm. You know those are good friends 😏
Interesting bit of trivia: singing "Another One Bites the Dust" to yourself will help you keep proper count when performing CPR. "Stayin' Alive" also works, and is more advisable if you're doing it out loud where people can hear you.
Thanks for the information about the drummer of def leppard lost one of his arms. Usually you don't recognize this fact in Videos. They stopped tours till he was ready for Comeback. That's friendship!!!
I can't believe you guys haven't played Culture Club yet. Suggestions: Debbie Gibson - Only in My Dreams (1987) Yello - Oh Yeah (1985) Bryan Adams - Summer of '69 (1985) The Pointer Sisters - He's So Shy (1980) Culture Club - Do You Really Want to Hurt Me (1982) Zapp - More Bounce to the Ounce (1980) Tiffany - I Think We're Alone Now (1987) Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - The Message (1982)
After seeing them all miss Wham!, I think it's time for a College Kids/Teens React to this band. They need to know about the wonderful music George (Michael) and Andrew (Ridgeley) gave us. (Part of me wants to see how the girls react to George in what I like to call his "golden-mulleted glory days", because let's face it... he was gorgeous back then. 😉) Who's with me?
How ON EARTH is it possible that only 3 people recognised Queen? I mean it's Queen, for gods sake
Camila N At this point I feel like they’re doing a “try not to get mad” challenge with us.
*EXACTLY*
It would be like not recognizing a Michael Jackson song.
Yes! They are the best band ever!!!!
it's US and that too college and idk man I need to do a PHd on that
do you ever just find yourself screaming "qUEEN. IT'S BY QUEEN. GOD SOMEONE PLEASE SAY QUEEN," because yeah me too
Mia Dibble yeah
Yeah, totally... Frustrating when they have no idea...
I say ya'll will be embarrassed if you don't say queen
It’s usually every song they react to! It makes me lose faith in the young people who will be in charge of music. If it’s not Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jonas brothers they have no clue.
I'm sorry but only 3......3 people knew QUEEN?!
fr, wtf
What? I though everyone in this earth knows Queen
WHAT....I DONT EVEN WANT TO WATCH THIS VIDEO ANYMORE
I’m a simple person, I see Freddie Mercury, I click
Yup... That's exactly what I did too.
I do too or Roger Taylor from Queen
Come on y'all should know Queen
NO nobody has to know who they are, Even if you heard of them is fine.
Victor Fernandez // Bigdestroyer Everybody has to know who they are...they have released many classic songs and Freddie Mercury is one of the greatest singers of all time
I'm a simple guy. I see Freddie Mercury, I click.

Nope.

Wait... HOw can't people now about Queen or U2??? How's that even possible??
Ami The Duck i agree, its a shame...
Yeah my best explanation would be that they might have been a bigger thing in Europe, but still.
@@wesselstienstra7020 but queen sold around 70+ million in us mate
I can understand not knowing U2, but not Queen, Queen has more iconic songs.
How can only 3 of 8 hear it's Freddy Mercurys voice..? Holy moly..
*FREDDIE* but you're right...
Not recognising Def Leppard, U2 and Queen! What the hell?
Yeah I was surprised as hell too. I thought everyone knew those songs
"This is from the Vine with the chihuahua." My heart hurts.
Drew Worth same. How the hell have they not heard of def leppard.
Drew Worth i just laughed but frs tho rip vine
Drew Worth same
Also how do you get to be a teen and not be able to identify Freddie Mercury's voice let alone one of the most iconic QUEEN songs?
U2 and Queen are blueprint for many of the stuff that was created later in 90s and 2000s, no way these bands can go unknown.
U2 are hated in the UK
Freddie Mercury? I C L I C K .
Freddie Mercury brought me here
CometCube same
Not knowing it was Queen that made Another One Bites The Dust? Like w0t m8?
the fact that only 3 of them knew the artist was Queen upsets me far more than it should lmao
Becca Faye
#fact
Becca Faye Nah, that's reasonable. ;-)
They could atleast know who's the voice was, but NAAAAH!!!!
Only 3 out of 8 people knew it was Queen?!?! And only 1 person knew it was U2?! WTH man, what are these guys doing with their lives? Jeez
Tigorious exactly. What I was thinking, I was pretty upset with this video 🙃🙃 like how?!!!
Only three people knowing Queen crushed my soul.
well, i can forgive them, but only because of their reactions after they find out its queen and you see that "DOH" moment in their eyes, knowing they knew it. ;)
Nah, its ok, i can understand it with this song and with "we are the champions" because those songs are all over the world of sports. and in sports, they dont usually say what songs are used :)
Legit in shock when I heard “I’ve never listened to this” while WHAM! plays omg
Queen is King :)
That would be a fab question to have asked mr Bulsara, studi. Reckon he'd have said "both"
"This 80s sounds like Coldplay"
Kinda funny because I've always felt that Coldplay sounds like a U2 tribute band.
hahahahaha!!!! spot on!!!!
I should really make a “make me feel old” playlist. And it will be filled with “do they know it?” videos.
Zeno don't worry, I'm 14 and 8 knew most of the songs/artists. I consider senior citizen age to be "old"
How do only 3/8 know queen!? O.O
Because they are young and didn't grow up in that era when these Artists and Bands were super famous.
I bet they know most of todays "Artists" though
How did none of them know Public Enemy!
I'd say, pound for pound, Queen has more memorable songs than any other artist/group on the planet.
toxman99 Beatles fam
@@weoutchea3982 Queen's songs are more iconic.
Incredible how they did not know “With Or Without You” or that “Another One Bites The Dust” was by Queen🙈🙈
sounds like Coldplay? no, Coldplay sounds like U2
I love how into it Eric gets when a song he likes comes on. "Another one bites the dust-AHHH"
Easy unless it's the Fresh Prince theme or PokeRap
I have list for episode 10:
Africa - Toto
Every Breath You Take - The Police
One - Metallica
Shout - Tears For Fears
Is This Love? - Whitesnake
In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins
And
Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) - Pink Floyd
Another brick was technically 1979 soooo...
Mustafa Shwan It was released as a single in 1980 and it hit No. 1 in 1980, so yeah it counts.
Darwinthenomicon NO Because It's First Release Was AT 79 AS A Album SO IT Dosen't When OR Where Release AS A Single.
Oh yea, I like that
So weird hearing them say they've only heard of U2 because of the album that was auto-downloaded to all iphones a few years ago.
The girl in the flower top is so unbelievably pretty.
At least her Mom gave her a good music education. And she sports a 80s hairdo too
when I hear them play George Michael I started to smile and sing along R.I.P George Michael and R.I.P Freddie Mercury and YESSSSS Def Leppard
React to Queen on Live Aid!!!
Tiffany YESSSS
"this sounds like Coldplay" IT'S THE OPPOSITE! 😂 Colplay sounds like this
I'm not even a U2 fan, but how can you not know them?
aqsw57 because they like cardi b
OrangeCrush Gaming
True dat
Yep, 57, the repetition is relentless.
Omg if these kids can’t make me feel any older. U2!!! Seriously who doesn’t know them.
It's scary how cultural touchstones become fade away and become irrelevant, isn't it?
I worked with a 17 year old lad about a year ago who was genuinely surprised that Madonna had a career before Ray of Light when Material Girl came on the radio. Made me feel a million, billion years old!
Only 3 recognized Queen. Wow.
I bet they only know Bohemian Rhapsody or We Will Rock You
"This is the one from the vine, with the dog" sweet Jesus these college kids!!
"This from the Vine, with the chihuahua."
Yikes
when i hear another one. bites the dust i was like jam it out
Def Leppard, Wham, and Queen in one video?! Amazing! Happy uni grad here :)
I’m 15 and another one bits the dust was the first song I ever bought. Queen should be in everyone’s childhood😄
Hard to imagine U2 being unknown.
Re: Sade " i have no idea who that is" - that hurts me
ouch only one knew that it was u2 and only three with queen. that hurts a bit
That one hurt a lot 😓
how are you guys like 20 years old and haven’t even heard most of these songs omg
ignorance and probably no exposure from radio or family I guess
It can happen lol I mean maybe it's because I'm really into music now but there were only a handful I grew up listening to (my parents listened to mainly funk, soul, and 70s music other than classical and the occasional classic rock from the 60s).
You need to do adults reacting to teens reacting to 80s
Fun fact: Another One Bites the Dust was the song that inspired Michael Jackson to make Thriller, the best selling album of all time.
Dean Thomas And Michael told Queen to release AOBTD as a single.
Dean Thomas This is awesome! And by the way, the bass you hear in this song is inspired by Chic's Good Times
"I have never heard this song before". WHAT.
How did they not know U2
ikr!?
Freddie Mercury would be proud af that Queen's music is still recognized all around the worlds even by kids (watch the Kids React to Queen if you haven't: priceless).
College kids react to QUEEN!!
you didn't know Another One Bites The Dust was by Queen?
How is that rock you live under.
Quite dusty I suppose
💀💀💀
Nobody knows With or Without You? That's sad...
Do they know CLASSIC music ? Would be very interesting.
You could have mentioned that George Micheal was the lead singer in Wham! They might have known him.
NO Actually They Don't, Watch "College Kids Know 80's Music? #3".
Fun Fact: Chris Martin was actually inspired by U2.
Whenever i hear "another one bites the dust" my body instantly goes in dance mode.
A bit of trivia, in the time it took for Def Leppard's drummer to recover from the accident, and learn to drum with his foot, Wham became popular and then split up. Hope that true, 01, because that's what friends would do.
Sheffield UK group.
Only 3 out of 8 knew it was Queen???
There is no hope for this generation apparently 😧
I thought Def Leppard would be the ONE band everyone would know. Pour some sugar on me is played at literally every dance ever....
One does not simply not know who Wham is.
"I know this song from vine."
That quote encapsulates what's wrong with this generation.
How is that wrong though?
Old people need to be quiet lol. What is wrong with someone that is not from the 80s knowing a song from the 80s through a popular media? Just shhhhh
Correct.
I gave up when they didn't recognize U2
SilentChaos15 that was me but with def leppard
Finally Smooth Operator made it in this list! Classic
how did they not get queen, freddie's voice is so iconic
Interesting bit of trivia: singing "Another One Bites the Dust" to yourself will help you keep proper count when performing CPR.
"Stayin' Alive" also works, and is more advisable if you're doing it out loud where people can hear you.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of it takes a nation of millions, you should get the teens to react to Public Enemy
Yes, definitely!
Thanks for the information about the drummer of def leppard lost one of his arms. Usually you don't recognize this fact in Videos. They stopped tours till he was ready for Comeback. That's friendship!!!
Having Freddie Mercury on the video icon practically tells you which song will be the last one.
ZerooOne01 Freddie is ma boo
I see Freddie Mercury I click
Brittany screams 80s
She like says the like word “like” to like much like.
Them Not knowing Public Enemy hurts my soul
I saw Freddie mercury and I clicked so fast
Troi Aaliyah Saaame.
Sees Freddy mercury (automatically clicks video)
Norman Navarrete I love Freddie Mercury he is amazing
me😂
nikki johnson indeed 😂😂
You GOTTA know Queen...It should be taught as a requirement in music class.
Cant believe not alot knew Queen smh 😂 even my 5 yr old knows who they are 😅🤘
Probably the most recognisable voices: Queen, U2, Def Lepard and Sade. Unbelievable for my generation not to know these guys.
I'll agree with the first three but unless you're referring to the Marquis, I'm drawing a blank.
Sade I swore was Steely Dan lol
@@jonathonedwardmiller "lol" is dated
Yeah, but these kids are not from our generation =)

These dudes need to play GTA: Vice City and listen to the radio LOL
I can't believe no one knows U2!!!!!!
They never herd of Def leppard what a shame
wweduke I know right
I can't believe you guys haven't played Culture Club yet. Suggestions:
Debbie Gibson - Only in My Dreams (1987)

Bryan Adams - Summer of '69 (1985)
The Pointer Sisters - He's So Shy (1980)
Culture Club - Do You Really Want to Hurt Me (1982)
Zapp - More Bounce to the Ounce (1980)
Tiffany - I Think We're Alone Now (1987)
Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - The Message (1982)
Bryan Dame Yes i love that Tiffany song!! Iconic
OH YAEH
Not knowing Sade. These kids are doomed
Being able to guess the title of a song based on it being repeated in the lyrics should not qualify as knowing the song.
yeah
👏🏻👏🏻
REACT TO CLASSIC ROCK SONGS/BANDS PLEASE! WE NEED IT
The lack of knowledge when it comes to rock music is kind of depressing.
I saw my baby Sade and I screamed
YPP me too...AGELESS, SULTRY AND BEAUTIFUL!
My heart is BREAKING INTO TINY PIECES. How did you not know Queen?! :'( we are the same age dudes!
Parents vs College kids 70's - 80's - 90's music. Could be a laugh
Had me a Freddie mercury
I SEE SADE I CLICK, A TRUE QUEEN SHE IS
Poor youth with such a lack of history in music. :-(
It disappoints me that no one ever knows 80s hip hop
Most of these guys don't even listen to Hip-Hop. Much less the 80's.
You should do an episode with songs that turns 10 this year, but not reveal it until the end
yasssss
I don't think you understood wht my point was
