Just wanted to thank you for this video. I had no idea how to get the wires out of the black housing, and because of you, I was able to do it. I am so grateful!
Thank you Thank you for this video. Because of it (and two others), I was able to fix the terrible noise my drill was making. After taking it apart, cleaning it, applying new grease, and putting it back together, it now hums!!! My drill is identical to yours in many ways. Your video helped me figure out the carbon brushes, which B&D couldn't do - they were no help at all. And of course, no one repairs such things anymore. My drill is such a great machine, so I thank you for helping me fix it!!!!! 😁Do you have any idea how old your drill is, or when it was manufactured?
How can it be that at this point there have been 197 views , but only 27 likes . COME ON people it is just not that hard to show appreciation for what posters teach us . Tap that like button . Thank you for restoring the tools of my youth . I 'm a subscriber from Scottsdale , Arizona . Home to snakes , lizards , cactus , and heat stroke ! And l wouldn't live anywhere else . 😀 That drill is 120 volt , not that common outside of North America. Where are you from ?
@@ekrestoration , Cambodia has s lot in common with Arizona , snakes , lizards , and heat . You do get a lot more rain than we do . Visitors will tell us " Yes , but it's a dry heat " . So is the inside of an oven ! What l remember of your country from 50 years ago was how beautifully green it was . That and your neighbors to the north east of you shooting at me . 😀
