Now, onto the good stuff:
This is a SPECIAL, FAN-MADE, BI-LINGUAL REMIX of "Magia Di Winx" and "Superheroes" I cobbled together just prior to today's upload. You see, the reasons I love WINX CLUB are (1)the art and character designs (very refreshing compared to what usually passes for 'cartoons' here in the US); (2)the story and writing (some of the best on TV, period); and (in the original Italian version and sanctioned-non 4KidsTv-English version) most of all, (3)THE MUSIC.
Now, don't get me wrong: I grew up with cartoons that had (literally) rocking soundtracks, but over time, those soundtracks 'digressed' into 'nursery-rhyme' type songs. For every ARCHIES and JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS (and yes, BANANA SPLITS, too!)that MY era got, our kids got BARNEY and SPONGEBOB (and even worse-the KIDS BOP CD series).
Yet, overseas kids (Japanese, especially) have been getting over musically since the early '80s. Why can't US (or Western) animation have such rocking theme songs--which are also BONAFIDE charting Hit Singles, in some markets.
Well, when I brought my first copy of WINX CLUB MAGICAL CANZONE (Magical Songs Of The Winx Club), I was impressed enough to load up my iPod with some of these tracks. It was Bubblegum Pop similar to early Britney and Miley Cirus. It was also the ANTI-'BARBIE' of girl-pop. Enough to impress this GUY. Finally, whereas the 'vocalists' for US 'Kids Pop' are anonymous, in Japan they're full-on celebrities. (That's right, you're listening to Hikari UTADA and Ayumi Hamazaki right now--aren't ya'!) Same here for the Winx Club:
Let's give props to the VOICE of the Winx Songs (and real Italian Pop Star) Elisa Rosselli. This fan-made remix and video is MY tribute to one (**ahem**) ASS-KICKING ITALIAN IMPORT!!! This is the SECOND Fan-Made Bi-lingual Mix of a WINX CLUB song I did (the FIRST one, a fantastic version of "Nel Sogno Di Winx"/"Under The Sign Of The Winx", is available ONLY on MY iPod--sorry, ya'll!!). As for THIS song, I just HAD to do it, because it Just. Plain. ROCKS ASS!! I hope ya'll enjoy it.

Thank you. Its a shame, though, that the ALBUM VERSION to "Magia Di Winx" came out some 4 weeks AFTER this was posted, but no prob. At least folks are loving this. ^_^
