    Hi! Greetings from Argentina! I'm 19 years old and I'm training to be an English teacher. I'm studying didactics to young learners and in my opinion my teacher isn't good or supportive😅😅 I've just discovered your channel and I love your videos. Don't stop you're doing it nice!❤

    Thanks so much for the idea, I like it a lot and will put it into practice. I have one question, what if the child choses to draw a thing which you can't remember or don't even know the translation of it in English? Do you admit that in front of the kid?

    • @TeachingEnglishwithSuzi
      @TeachingEnglishwithSuzi  3 года назад +1

      This happens to me too! And I do admit it because I don't see any other way. 😅I usually say "oh my goodness, I don't know this word! Let's check on my phone". The real trick is finding it quickly and trying to get the focus back on drawing and back on the game because as I'm sure you know, phones can be very distracting. Maybe you could use Siri or a google assistant so that you can ask the phone without opening any applications and without typing. I only thought of it now and need to try it myself, but I think that that way, you could avoid your child getting distracted by other icons or adverts on your phone while using google search.

    Hello, do you know any activities for hyperactive children? How can I make teaching fun with them? And for them to always look forward to learning English?

    • @TeachingEnglishwithSuzi
      @TeachingEnglishwithSuzi  3 года назад +2

      If you have children who like to move around a lot, construct your lessons in such a way so that they have to move around a lot. :) For example
      - Treasure hunts! Indoors or outdoors. You can give them a list and they have to find what's on the list
      - Obstacle course: Indoors or outdoors - there are a lot of ideas online where on different obstacles they have to do an activity - you can mix it up depending on their abilities. At the first obstacle, they have to jump up and down 5 times, second, rub their head, the third obstacle, create 3 sentences with the word "scared" - so you can mix physical activities with mental activities.
      - Short activities - change activities often. A bit of reading, a bit of singing, a bit of drawing - if it's starting to get a little noisy, change the activity.
      If you want kids to look forward to your lessons, leave the best activity for last. End on a high note! Leave the last 10min for a game, like 5seconds.
      If you end with something exciting, they'll be sad to go and will look forward to the next lesson.
