Newly declassified footage of simulating a nuclear weapon on tropical rainforest coming soon

Operation Blowdown was an explosives test carried out in the Kutini-Payamu jungle of Australia's Cape York Peninsula in 1963, to simulate the effects of a nuclear weapon on tropical rainforest. It was conducted by the Australian Army, the Department of Supply, and the Defence Standards Laboratory with participation from the United Kingdom, Canada and United States. In addition, blast effects on military material, field fortifications, supply points, and foot and vehicle movement were examined in a rain forest environment.

Not an Atomic Weapon, it were just a lot of TNT, to simulate a low yield Nuclear Weapons effects in Jungle, to this day the clearing where the explosion was made is still visible.

50 tons, not 50 kilotons. That would be 50,000 tons of TNT. Which is unreasonable, unless it is a nuclear weapon. No conventional explosive will ever yield more than ~1 kiloton.

Not necessarily, the Davy Crockett had a yield of 70 tons of TNT.
Ok, it was one of the lightest atomic bombs, but it was still a atomic bomb.
The conventional russian thermobaric bomb has a yield of 45 tons of TNT.
