@@Ksavputin You can play songs even if not a Bard. If I remember right, you just have to help the bard girl in the Druids grove, if you do the right dialogue, she teaches you how to do it.

BG3's music is really good but it mostly lives in the background imho. Maybe I just haven't spent enough time playing for them to really grow on me, maybe it's because I have a strong sentimental attachment to Divinity. But this game has so many memorable tracks, straight-up one of the best game soundtracks I can think of. Borislav is an absolute god.
Yeah bg3 flopped on the music side. Ignoring that ost is partially remixed divinity which you can hear. BG3's music just lacks the impact and a characteristic score that would play in the most important moments
I think that's true for the main theme, but I strongly think that Borislav's best music is in BG3

I always say the most important part of a game is the feeling you get when you remember it, and when it comes to Divinity 2 there isn't any other game I've played that compares. I just wish more people will experience this feeling like I did.

They probably will. BG3 is such a huge success that most prople will very likely be playing their first ever Larian game, and when they're done playing it they'll look into other Larian games and inevitably land on DOS 2.
A similar thing happened when DOS 2 came out. It was a huge success, universally praised, and when people were done playing it they decided to try out DOS 1.
My friend, i keep coming back to this song just for the feel i have when i hear the first two notes. This hasn't just been a game to me, but much, much more.
for more story focused experience I'd suggest playing pathfinder wotr. Just watch out the main story and sidequests are a loooooooooot longer than bg3

I like BG3 because it brought more people to a real Larian gem which is Divinity: Original Sin 2
Baldur's gate 3 is what i played first. it was confusing at first but after learning it's style and beating, i went back to dov2 and it was so much easier to understand
dos2 gameplay is significantly more fun
Thats what I'm hoping it divinity 2 was very daunting but ive gotten a good grasp playing BG3 so when im done with that i want to revisit it
I started a game with a friend of mine, made a mock character thinking eh da hell, this is goin to be a one shot run. Several hours later, my necromancer had ripped thousands of faces and toss them on a square in act 2, made rain blood and everything was perfect, while people pretend to haven't seen anything, living their bucolic fantasy lives, listening to this gorgeous gorgeous soundtrack.
My death dwarf knight and my friend in coop playing a blowing shit up aoe build while I'm standing in the middle of the blast killing shit with necromancy and two handed sword. The most fun I've had in a long time. We got to make the characters we wanted.

It has such a solemn feel to it.
It feels like the entire story is much more of a personal journey for you to complete rather than a grand quest, despite you becoming the Godwoken, and subsequently the Divine in some endings.
A path of self-discovery, in a way.
Less spoilers maybe would be better

This is so much better than BG3's theme song.
Sorry Borislav Slavov, but I'm with this guy on this one. That isn't to say BG3's soundtrack isn't good, but D:OS2's main theme is just on another level. Especially the version that plays at the final battle with Lucian.
So epic that you can play this music even in Baldur's Gate 3
I prefer BG3 main theme. This one sounds a bit too flat and sweet. However, DOS2's OST is overall better

Une musique qui met la larme à l'oeil ça veut dire deux choses, que cette musique est magnifique et que le jeu d'où elle vient est tout aussi beau. (Tu devrais suivre un peu plus les cours de Français si tu veux mon avis ;) )
