I have ganyemede and i tested them as well side by side. I do not think i would ever go for the extrait. Its just too expensive and does not give you so much more than edp.
Bro should make a podcast or just a long form conversational type video talking about aroma chemicals and perfume construction, no editing needed
He should. There’s a brilliant podcast studio in Bolton which is close to Salford. I’ve worked at that studio and the quality that comes out of there for the comparable low cost of production is insane.
The edp is great and worth its price. Glad to see I don’t need to bother with the extrait

£270 seems to be about the current going rate for 50ml for some brands - Tom Ford will charge you £290 for 50ml of Lost Cherry/Bitter Peach etc (i can remember when £250 would buy you a huge 250ml decanter of a TF fragrance !)
How many years ago?
@@maalikfazal1406 When they first launched 250ml decanters were £250 & they more or less kept these prices for the next 5 or 6 years. I still have 250ml decanters of Moss Breches, Purple Patchouli, Japon Noir etc that i bought for £225 in a Harrods 10% off weekend

Please review Macaque Yuzu Edition by Zoologist. I’d love to hear your thoughts - it’s the most unusual citrus I’ve ever had. It’s an incensey soapy clean sandalwood that’s very airy with the notes of hinoki (let’s say a Japanese cypress), juniper berries and tart, bitter yuzu. It changed my life, for real, and I’ve already tested over 700 fragrances in my life so it wasn’t an easy task.
damn that sounds like an intriguing scent. I don't have a great experience with zoologist, I've smelled rhino, t rex and civet. Of these three, civet was the only one that I could find wearable and overall nice ( although I still think it would get mixed reactions). But I don't get rhino and t rex at all. T rex is simply put a strange smell I can't describe and rhino smells like straight up urine. I consider these exhibition scents, not scents someone would actually wear. Is this Macaque one divisive as well, or does it go safe?
Love both but extrit is bit more stronger to my liking but OG is awesome🥰
Iso E super and hedione are interesting as they don't become stronger the more you add, 1g or 100g smells the same. The more you add however, the more projection and fullness you get.

Yesterday i made a "mistake". I wanted to go out and sprayed Xerjoff Naxos. A friend called me on the phone, got me confused and as i walk out the door I forgot that I already had sprayed and grabbed the Ganymede. Damn. The chicks where mad. Even the waitress 😅. I think I will give this combination a try next time
I wish I knew what their justification was for that price. I mean obviously Ganymede and b683 are classics. One could argue they are masterpieces. But the difference in price is pretty crazy. And for me and probably a lot of other people I don't even want to try it because it's just so expensive that it's hard to justify the difference.

Hated Ganymede Extrait. The myrrh in the base smelled like a salt candle, and original Ganymede mixing with that profile makes for like an oversalted dill salad. You'd have to try it to get it, think the dry ambers in it was terrible.

Akigalawood is a Givaudan exclusive modified patchouli oil. You can guess the smell of many fragrances when you see akigalawood in the notes and Quentin Bisch as the perfumer. I can from the top of my head tell you at least 5 that smell like very closely related flankers by Bisch despite being from different brands. I think he just loves it, but it makes a lot of his creations smell unoriginal, boring and having a dentist office note
