This episode had many twists and turns like the addition of Gothel and Maleficent calling the guardian of the cauldron her father.
Tony and Layne are extremely talented writers. Love this series more and more as the story goes on.
The characters, the music, the acting. Everything.
By the way.... The actress (Alexjandra Martinez - Ali) that usually plays Malicifient was pregnant during filming so they had to get a different actress for this episode. She did a fantastic job.
I'm sure Ali will probably be back for the next episode and I can't wait for it.

Have to admit, I did NOT see it coming that the Horned King is Maleficent's father. And yet. . .it makes TOTAL SENSE.
If you didn't know what that thing was that Maleficent gave Mother Gothel was The Diamond tip of King Magnifico's Staff

The villain in the crystal that Maleficent gave to Mother Gothel is King Magnífico, villain from the movie "Wish".
The skeleton who is Maleficent's father is The Horned king, he is the villain of the movie "The Black Cauldron"
