    I know with all the recent health issues Sinner's form is in question but goodness me, when you watch the highlights of the guy playing... every point feels like an offensive chokehold where he just grabs control of the point off one good FH or BH and doesn't let up.
    He takes the ball so early where even watching the points I feel breathless. I can't imagine how it would feel playing against him; you would feel so rushed and eventually just overwhelmed by the constant barrage of quality balls coming at you faster, and faster, and faster...
    He doesn't have as much variety as Carlos, but goodness this guy has a whole artillery division's worth of firepower from behind the baseline...

      Said it on several occasions now. He doesn't have top 5 level fitness yet. Everything else is world class, but gassing out is unacceptable for the top of the sport. Look at Novak back in the day. Used to get heatstroke and fatigue regularly. Worked on his diet, fitness and training and became arguably the fittest guy ever on tour. Jannik needs to do something similar

Being ill and unable to even get out of bed does something to your fitness, especially when you lose weight as well. In the sports world its everywhere and a world you dont see unless youre part of it. I didn't say he wasn't doing it. Obviously he's doing it geesus. 🤦 I said he needs to do more. He does. It's apparent.

    For how many hours and how many matches will Sinners hip hold up to? It's so unfortunate that he has a quite stubborn and recurring injury at 22 years. Hip injuries for tennis players is like a "mouse plaque", it will never really go away unless you take full time to recover and rehabilitate. But he's young and pretty much in his prime, can't blame him for continuing and only takes time to aid the symptoms instead of fixing the core-problem of the hip which will take many months are even a year. He doesn't want to be out of the game for so long, especially when he's winning so much right now.

    • @billiey36
      @billiey36 4 месяца назад +3

      He doesn't seem to think the hip is a problem so why do you? You can't put other people's problems off on him and I suspect you're not even a doctor.

    • @Askaa88
      @Askaa88 4 месяца назад

      Don't need to be a doctor to observe the obvious right? Sinner said many times it's the hip, he will get it evaluated but for the time being, it's still good to go. It's a known fact that hip (and wrist) issues are detrimental for tennis players in the long run, it's pretty much common sense.

    • @billiey36

If he plays in this way without a true recovery he will suffer the 5 set game of US Open, as he suffered in W after the difficult win in Halle. In the best case he will arrived tired for US Open. US tennis need better movers instead of serve bots. I bet resources are prioritize to those who are deemed more gifted based on the first growth spurt instead of any other metrics. This is not football or basketball where height is a main metric to considered. All of the all time greats are great movers in tennis. The fact US tennis doesn't seem to realize that says alot. US tennis should seek talents from immigrants who is more likely to have diet consist of fresh vegetable and home cook meals instead of fast food.

      @@cvcfoundation8413 lol you can tell he is physically not in shape. I have muscoloskeletal issues in my hip area due to my muscle development and overtraining issues from gymnastics and ballet that still come up on days I play more than 3 hours of tennis, which is any day I play tennis, 5 times a week. His body is at a disadvantage in the fast twitch production use on tour. And he looks like he’s grown and lose muscle in his legs. He may be adjusting to a slight growth spurt IMO. Either way, his body will not hold and he’ll have to eventually change his game due to his physical development and just outplay others.
      You can’t take away his ability to beat anyone on your when you look at his skill level, even if right now he’s struggling! That’s just a comment trying to be a contratrian. I’m not a Novak fan but I can recognize his ability and strengths which give him the edge. You don’t win based on one or two qualities alone, you have to possess many to outplay others

He physically has been moving slower and I’m sure his hip will start hurting the more intense he tries to play since he hasn’t actually had a break to correct his hip. Stay made that’s he’s World No. 1!!!!
