In larger orgs, there is nothing as Junior Product Designer. Its like PD1, PD2, Senior Product Designer. Most of these roles have same responsibilities. Its not like PD1 will cover a smaller area and senior will cover a larger charter. Each designer is assigned a specific charter. Research is handled by a separate Researcher, content by a content designer. You can show capabilities of a Senior Product Designer at Product Designer 1 level too. But that alone won't give you faster promos. To get promoted to next level, you need to do stuffs which are not even work related..like being a team player, creating clarity, handle events and workshops.
I heard that there're no Junior Product Designer exists. You can only shift to middle designer with proven experience as a UX/UI designer. How do you agree with it?
