    Thank you sir for this slideshow. I wasn't alive for these days but i love seeing all the old International equipment.

      I only got to see the end of it because our local IH dealership closed when I was 7 or 8. Thank You for watching

    This is what I loved about IH. They had an implement for every possible job on the farm. Thanks for sharing Tom!

    Extremely interesting and as I have said before an educational slice of history and a great company. I was especially interested in the earlier horse drawn mowers and rakes. We have a #9 mower that was purchased new by my wives grandfather and is stored indoors and is in good operating condition. Also we have a dump rake and steel wheeled side delivery rake all purchased new by our family. One item of some interest is a wooden bull rake for actually hand raking loose hay into rows that was missed by other raking action.

      When my great aunt and uncle lived here, they had a John Deere L, a dump rake and the kids used those bull rakes to get around the rocks. Sadly, it was all sold before I was able to buy this house. The old IH hit and miss engine, the gas washing machine, milk bottle capper and glass bottles …all gone
