Extremely interesting and as I have said before an educational slice of history and a great company. I was especially interested in the earlier horse drawn mowers and rakes. We have a #9 mower that was purchased new by my wives grandfather and is stored indoors and is in good operating condition. Also we have a dump rake and steel wheeled side delivery rake all purchased new by our family. One item of some interest is a wooden bull rake for actually hand raking loose hay into rows that was missed by other raking action.
When my great aunt and uncle lived here, they had a John Deere L, a dump rake and the kids used those bull rakes to get around the rocks. Sadly, it was all sold before I was able to buy this house. The old IH hit and miss engine, the gas washing machine, milk bottle capper and glass bottles …all gone
Thank you sir for this slideshow. I wasn't alive for these days but i love seeing all the old International equipment.
I only got to see the end of it because our local IH dealership closed when I was 7 or 8. Thank You for watching
This is what I loved about IH. They had an implement for every possible job on the farm. Thanks for sharing Tom!
And fridges, trucks, tools, milk machines and freezers too! Thank you Mark
@@LedgemereHeritageFarm Absolutely!
