It’s so meta and I love it my respect for the show, the author, production team, actors, everyone involved in this show just blew past the roof.

I am going to say the bitter truth. We don't need a season 2. Nubsib and Gene's story has ended in the purest and most beautiful way possible don't ruin it. We just need them doing alot of other projects together. They might even do some NubsibGene cameos that will make us scream and induce nostalgia in other projects but seriously, a second season isn't needed.

It was a wonderful creative way to end the series.. I loved the appearance of the writer Rose at the end.. It was really a clever way to bring the audience back to reality.. Gene and Nubsib are just characters who acted their part beautifully and at the end of the day they will move on and so do people have to move on.. 🙂

Lovely Writer was sooo good, it should be the first bl that people watch because it basically makes the blueprint of not only what a relationship should be like but how fans should behave when watching a show as well as teaches that actors are people too and they have their own lives that should be respected.

If you look closely, it's Rose, the real author of the series, who disappears in the restaurant scene. She has been sitting in her home office writing the end of Sib and Gene's story. We have been in her head the entire time. Gene looks over at her at the end, breaks the fourth wall with her (as they had just done with the audience in the previous scenes), smiles and nods to thank her for bringing them to life. Fantastic ending.

Why God I'm an year late to watch this masterpiece. Oh yeah, I just entered the bl world a few months back😂... This drama is too good to feel unreal. It truly depicts the harsh reality of this industry.. The shipping and all the fans going crazy, these are all so true.. The lack of toxicity and the healthy relationship gene and sib has is so damn good. I literally feel this drama is underrated... I'm leaving this comment cuz when somebody likes it I can come re-watch it.. I truly wish for season 2...❤

I just loved how they reminded the audiences that it's all fictional and NOT real! This series was the most unproblematic bl series. Hatts off to the author, production crew and of course the brilliant actors. It was one of its kind.

I've never loved the ending of BL series like this before..... I swear this series is soo wholesome.. they potrayed the story of real life actors so well....we should understand this as well.... thanks to the author of LOVELY WRITER for giving us such a beautiful story based on real life❤️✨

@@lovejinnie_7 the end basically saying all the episode we’ve watched from episode one all the way to the final episode was just an average person writing about characters in her head. Meaning gene and Sib were never actually people that live the life they showed. They were part of the real author’s imagination.

I don't ship them romantically, i know they're just friends and probably already have partners irl. Rather than some other BL actors who do a lot of fanservice but when on-screen, they lack chemistry.

They purposely even make the actors do things to brainwash their fans to thinking their fantasies are actually real. I know the BL actors aren’t rich and need to make money but look at these two! Hin’s dedication and resiliency paid off and is on his way towards living his dream
After watching Gene and Sib’s soft moments in this video, I feel like I need an extra episode of the both of them just being madly in love with each to recover from the toxic emotional trauma they put us through. Alas, it was not to be.
We have got to give credit to the respective actors for their effort 👏🏻 they not only gave a strong performance but also gave us a glimpse of how the entertainment industry can sometimes ruin lives, just for the sake of entertaining the audience. It’s an apt reminder for us fans to ship the characters, never the actors. No matter how convincing or how close they may seem on or off screen, we shouldn’t have a say of what goes on in their personal lives. Just pray and send wishes for their personal happiness, no matter who they’re with, what they’re doing or where they may be. Peace and love, to everyone ❤️ imma go cry myself silly now.

Glad i came across it, I'm very happy to have watched it all, this is now my favorite BL series 😭✨ it's so meaningful and the coupl's relationship was healthier than any BL couple I've ever seen.. kudos to the team involved in making this masterpiece!! i hope more BL fans discover this gem, it's really worth watching and has important messages for all of us 💕

Quizás en el inicio no estaba tan motivada incluso paso más de un año para terminar de verla pero cuando me la tomé enserio no me pude despegar, los actores tienen magia, y amo como sib mira a gene con una devoción encantadora, y el fina me hizo llorar que hermosa serie, gracias a la autora.

Overall this series was A GEM which I just found. I loved every minute of it. The characters were well expressed by the actors, the dialogue were nicely planned and didn't felt like fillers and the story line was amazing.
Most of the times, I stop watching a series once the big conflict makes appearance, but here I was curious about how the character handle it.
This also taught me so many things about life and about being a fan of celebrities. Keep up writers!
This was honestly a good show I loved how when is got really bad they still chose love over fame it’s honestly the best one yet I highly recommend this for people who love romance and drama this series will make you wanna watch it again for how good it was the actors and amazing hopefully they come out with more series as to the actors who worked really hard on this series this will always be in my heart and I may watch it again ❤😊

The meeting after 4 months kiss was Hungry and full of love.. The way they were literally eating each other really shows how much they have missed each other.. The soft face touches, the kisses on hands were more romantic than the full lip kissing.. 😍

A huge round of applause for the writer he wrote each nd every part with so consistentsy nd gene nd sib's chemistry is just on next level i'vd watched this series 5 times nd I'm not bored of their chemistry, the way sib cheers nd flirts with gene . I mean in every line whenever he's talking or simply looking at gene all love is just is pouring out from his eyes nd mouth . They both are perfect for each . One is cute, puffy sometimes becomes hot headed but another one is whole loving nd patient . They makes a sweet nd iconic bond that i can't forget . All i need is more series of them together 💜❤️
This is by far the most mature and best bl series to date. Great acting and a good complex storyline right through. I would love to see these two again in a different story. Great work and congrats to the actors, producers and crew for an amazing job; the sound effects and music on this series was also excellent. What an enjoyable experience.

Perfect ending. The fourth wall breaking homages to Cinderella, Snow White, and Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet (bit of a nod to Kao’s turn in Until We Meet Again) was a lot of fun. As much as we love it, though, we must remember how hit or miss direct BL sequels are - for every SOTUS S, Still 2gether, or TharnType special episode, there’s still TharnType 2, A Chance at Love, etc. that contrives preposterous conflict or ruins/mutilates/misunderstands the characters. Regardless, Lovely Writer was excellent.

This has got to be one of the most genuine and sweet bl's I’ve watched so far. From beginning to end the storyline was just amazing and kept the audience engaged.
The fact that the actual writer of the series appeared was even more amazing! Ending it with the fact that Gene and Nubsib were fictional all along was a plot twist and a great way to end the show! Props to all the actors and staff who made this series possible!

That ending was cheeky and playfull and creative shot so well, +1 the directors, camera people and of course our two main actors. I love those little fourth wall brakes. Also the fact that they chose the Leonardo Decaprio version of Romeo and Juliet lol.
