I bought this recently. It is a good beginner bicycle with upgrade possibilities. Shifts are smooth, paint job is amazing that people think it is much costlier bike. Tyres are fast rolling compared to cheap MTBs. Shifters and levers being saparate, we can upgrade them one by one. In regular 7X3 setup with ef500 shifters we have to upgrade shifters and break levers as well. Only thing is I didn't get seat post quick release.
@@shsrm3 Is riverside 120 aluminum or does come with 1x drivetrain or has disc brakes? Also, since you know, does it come in blue color with riverside 500 written on it?
@@avadhootvsorry,was a about to reply another comment and replied to yours. did you get suspension seat for riverside 500? What is the part number of microshift shifter for riverside 500? They have not posted this info on the decathlon website.cycle not available at the nearest store. So buying online.
@@shsrm3 I bought online only and picked up from the store. I don't know part no. but its 9 speed microshift. Yes. I got suspension seat. Didn't like it initially, but its good for city. I got QR clamp from outside and also attached bullhorns in the middle like altbars.
Better get toronto h20 than this. No internal cabling, frame design not good, not sure abt those gear sets . Only declathon after sales support is good here
This looks cheap. Besides Riverside has a good upgrade potential, up to 2.3 wide tires in 27'5. It has a cheap, but working fork which is much preferred in bad road conditions.
The gear shift isn't very smooth but might get better with service From personal experience, speed is a big issue. The most basic cycles overtake me no matter how hard I pedal. Seat and ride comfort is very high. Never felt tired and suspension is good.
Suspension spring seat is mentioned on decathlon app for riverside 500.did you get it?
