Came here for this. The appraiser seemed to be going down that route at the beginning but then just accepted that it was genuine. I would expect a lot more proof, especially given that the owner was a convicted forger.
My favorite part too is at the end, when she said Frank Sinatra was a devout Catholic. Indeed, I agree. Different women at same time, gamble, alcohol and mafia friends. Agresive, demanding and controller. Cool story tho.
For millennia, religion's been used as a tool for political power struggles and colonial imperialism. Cover for pedophiles and genocide of countless ethnic groups. I wonder, what is a devout catholic? Are they so devout that they would go to war abroad, killing in the name of their god OR do they strictly adhere to the first commandment; "Thou shalt not kill", and refuse service?
That doesn’t make you not a devout Catholic. That’s why we have weekly confession. You can get forgiven for virtually anything, as many times as you want. Just say some Hail Mary’s and Our Fathers. Nice.
I just looked it up and he did not actually become Catholic until 1976, so I'll bet the last 20 years of his life, he was a very different man than his early life
People that show zero change in emotion when they are told a price 3 times higher than a recent appraisal (from 3 months ago?) why even be on the show. You know what you have and you expected a fortune..
How many of you paused the video to read the letter?
yes
I get all my genuine documents from convicted forgers.
I laughed out loud
Brilliant observation!
Hahaha! Too funny…
Just jealous😮
So sorry you feel that way😊😊😊
“somehow it ended up with my dad” SURE BUDDY
Personally I'd be surprised if the bidding stopped before $75,000. I think the owner knows what she has because she didn't blink at $30,000
Its provenance is from a person convicted of forgery. Does that not strike anyone as odd?

How silly.
So sorry you feel this way😊😊😊but what if YOU HAD IT….too funny
Oh what a night, late december back in '63.
Very interesting I didn’t know about this event.

I read somewhere that Frank's wife packed condoms in his suitcase when he went away...

@@MrRufusRToyota doesnt mean you're forgiven though, especially if you don't intend to stop sinning

This letter should have been out there long ago to show how Frank felt. Why only now?
Because my father passed away and we just got it….know the full story or stories before you judge! So sorry you feel this way😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Apple didn't fall far from the tree... Harbored a valuable stolen letter.
Legit thought that was Carole Baskin when I saw the thumbnail!
The letter either belongs to the State, the Church or a public institution, it certainly does not belong to the woman claiming ownership.
The letter is in MY hands nonetheless! Opinions are like???????????……Some are ????????????? Than others😮
SELL IT!
Don't forget auction estimates are conservative guys.
Ok here's my question: how the HECK do kidnappers pick the ransom amount?
$240,000?
Why not 250? Why not 300?
I've never been able to figure that out.
in 1963 240,000 would be about 2 million in todays dollars
They’re just lucky, that some of Frank‘s friends didn’t get a hold of them before the police did if you know what I mean……
She looks kinda sharky.
Maybe???????……OH AND LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING😮😮😮😊😊😊😮😮😮LOLOLOLOL
she's just proud of the stuff she wrote in this fake letter
Fake how?
Sounds like he stole it!!!
Like I said…..opinions………..😮😮😮😮😊😊
