Just got the 48” model with 2 drawers, and home depot had a sale of $80 off, so $149. Using it as a desk and sewing in a bedroom. Nice

Just assembled this same model a few days ago - they've changed the support rail bolts to cross hex bolts (M8 x15L) without washers, and they seem to have rectified the fit issue on the crank handle (I prefer keeping it in the drawer regardless - too many people in my house who like to fiddle with things).

Great Video! It's New Year's Eve 2024 in Palm Springs, California! I just bought the exact same table at the P.S. Home Depot on December 28th for $278.00. It was on sale for $50.00 less; it had been priced at $328.00. I had HD put it together for me, and I'm also having them deliver it. In fact, they're delivering tomorrow on, January 1st -- New Year's Day! Unbelievable! I had an electric table delivered on the 27th from Amazon, but I needed to run to HD for a new electric screwdriver, and that's when I saw the Husky table. I thought about the Husky table overnight, and I decided to go back to HD the next day and purchase one. UPS picked up the Amazon table yesterday. I teach online and need a larger table for two computer screens. Plus, I need to stand more during the day instead of sitting in front of my computer. Viola! This Husky table will do the trick without any electricity! It keeps it simple. By the way, I think the lower support beam will be in the middle when delivered tomorrow. Can I move that beam to the back area, like yours, without unscrewing the legs? I'm looking forward! I hope your Husky table is still holding up well after a couple of years! Thanks again for your video!!!

You can keep a 12 volt drill or driver in that draw to run it up and down much faster

I recently bought one of these to use as a desk since I wanted to be able to use monitor arms and I didn’t want to drill holes through the desk I was using in case I wanted to repurpose it for something else.
Going to have to leave the drawers off on mine though, since having them on means I wouldn’t be able to sit at the desk with my legs under it.
I plan on keeping them around in the closet. I already have an idea of how I can use them for something else.

I just use your video to remember how to take it apart. Been using mine for the past couple years for a desk. Also used it to move some sectional furniture where you don’t wanna lift and put on the ground. Going to be repurposed into the kitchen as a workspace cooking encounter.

Recently bought a second one for a computer desk. There’s been a couple good updates since this video. Most notably the cranks properly attached and retracts under the table. I bought a black, one drawer with a dark top and it looks great but I wish it was 62”. The only downside I’ve found so far is the tops pretty soft and scratches easy. Otherwise you can’t beat it for the money. Thanks for watching!

I just bought this table today. I watched your video yesterday. I was able to assemble this thing without the instructions provided (thanks to your video). The most important part that I needed to know... was that the gear mechanism was opposite the Husky logo. And I heard you saying that in my head the entire time. Great job with the instructional video. I love this table. I think I'm going to buy at least one more.

I use mine as a desk. I 3D printed a few spacers to drop the drawer cabinet down far enough to fit my audio interface in an under-mount and put a few cable routing holes in it, and it's maybe the best desk I've ever had.

I purchased a similar table from Home Depot (without drawers) specifically to use as an outfeed table for my table saw and it works beautifully!!
When it's not being used as an outfeed table I use it for projects that I'm working on. Love the adjustable height for these reasons.

I got one like this but a bit longer and without drawers. Very sturdy and well built. I was surprised and impressed with the quality. The only issue with mine was a "threaded" insert that was not actually threaded. But given how many other screws and bolts there are, doesn't seem like an issue.

I’m crazy happy with this table! It’s still in the shop and I’ve found countless uses for it. It’s even been awesome for reviewing and filming large items because I can drop it low instead of raising the tripod over my head. My only complaint now that I’ve used it for some time is the wood top is pretty soft and I’ve got quite a few groove marks from gentle use. Not the end of the world but worth noting. Thanks for watching!

@@ProjectsForAllReviews I think I will get the largest one without drawers, and use it for an outfeed table for the radial arm saw, tablesaw, and planer. I would like to build a slide for the table saw using skateboard wheels or drawer slides. Maybe you can make a slide that would also work for the bandsaw. Thanks again for the video.

Awesome video. Some people who want to put heavy mounted monitors on this unit with clamps have reported some bowing in on the table, due to having to remove the back brace underneath the table to fit the monitor clamp. Would you use angle irons, or metal plates, or something, on the mount clamping surface to spread the force?

Well, that seems a dumb design for most people who are right-handed:
Because of gravity, elevating the heavy top should be more work than lowering it.
Yet the design requires raising the heavy top by cranking the handle counter-clockwise--the more awkward direction for most people, who as I mentioned, are right-handed.
If that handle rotates a shaft, perhaps the handle could be inserted both ends of the shaft, providing the drawers could also be installed to open on the side the handle is used.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  28 дней назад +1

This has been my main table for reviews since this video and I use the height adjust crank constantly. I’m right handed and honestly this never occurred to me. There is more tension raising the table obviously but even with something heavy on it it’s never hard to crank. Thanks for watching Willard!
