How did these two make comedy lists for geriatrics and not include a Monty Python film on either of them???? The Holy Grail is still hilarious to this day.

If we’re talking films after the turn of the millennium, I’d have to mention Old School, 40 Yr Old Virgin, Step Brothers, Superbad and Me Myself and Irene as some of my personal favorites.
@@drewjoaquin4761 well I mentioned Step Brothers and Talladega Nights, I honestly haven't watched Superbad in almost 15 years, which is blowing my mind as I am typing this, I did watch Tropic Thunder a few years ago and while there is no way that movie gets made nowadays, it still holds up as a great comedy and probably RDJ's greatest acting performance ever

@@getcrunk117 lol. It just seems like one of those movies that's on every 45+ year old's top comedies list. Plus, no Spaceballs? Knocked Up? 40 Year Old Virgin? I'll give David Airplane, but all 4 of these are better than his top 4.
David’s list was near perfect. Squeeze Holy Grail in there somewhere and we’re simpatico bruv Edit: Adnan’s list was equally as impressive. These dudes get me
I love Monty Python, but those movies are pretty dated. Just tried watching Holy Grail recently with a friend who said he loved it, too, and we were both surprised at how little we laughed at it now.
@@kevinlakeman5043 to each their own, I‘m 30 and actually find many of these 70s & 80s comedies to be eminently more rewatchable than the comedies of the last 20 years or so. I re-watch Holy Grail and Airplane both pretty regularly and roar with laughter each time, which says a lot because I tend to be the type that internalizes a lot of humor in a “wink-wink” acknowledgment sort of manner and rarely “laughs out loud.” Evidently I have a soft spot for frivolous, nonsensical plots laden with physical humor and rapid-fire one-liners. They simply don’t make em like they used to.
Adnan, not only have I heard of "Let It Ride", I love it. And "Good Morning Vietnam" isn't even a real comedy, there are no laughs in the second half of the film, just a lot of people getting blown up and killed. How do you have such a violent, tragic movie as a top 5 comedy????
My Top 5 is mostly based on how much I rewatch the movies. OLIs - Beerfest, Spaceballs, Naked Gun Trilogy, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood 5. Fear of a Black hat 4. Baseketball 3. Friday 2. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back 1. Robin Hood: Men In Tights
I dont have an order but for me: Clue Blazing Saddles Death Becomes Her Life of Brian Airplane! I am 41 years old, can't really think of much that surpasses those classics for me.
Tough to narrow it down to just 5, but you have to include Animal House, Blues Brothers, Young Frankenstein, Caddyshack, and to include a recent one Jumanji welcome to the jungle. OLI-Ghostbusters.
WOW! I agree with David Samson, let it ride is a hysterical movie! Many quotable lines: ‘you just can’t beat an animal’ ‘here trotter, have some nice beer!’
A millennial's top 5 comedies list in no real order: Caddyshack Superbad Black Dynamite The Waterboy Tropic Thunder Honorable mentions: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pineapple Express, Raising Arizona
I wouldn't put any of those in my top 100. A list for people with an actual sense of humor: 5 - Dr. Strangelove, 4 - Ferris Bueller's Day Off, 3 - Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, 2 - Fargo, 1 - American Psycho
They named all those movies from the 80's and 90's and the name Eddie Murphy never occurred to either of them. Blazing Saddles, 40 year old virgin, Friday, Airplane, Coming to America
1. Dumb & Dumber 2. Young Frankenstein 3. Coming To America 4. Ace Ventura 2 5. Hot Fuzz 6. King Pin 7. Cable Guy 8. Take The Money And Run 9. Austin Powers Goldmember 10. Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Deadpool was funny, Hangover and Tropic Thunder were f****** hilarious. Thank you Adnan for wanting the return of raunchy comedies. My top five comedies: Tropic Thunder, Old School, Dumb and Dumber, Harlem Nights and Anchorman. Outside looking in: Horrible Bosses 1-2, Wedding Crashers, Hangover, Austin powers the spy who shagged me, Coming to America, 40yr Old Virgin, Ace Ventura Pet Detective.
While it's been overplayed & worn out by now, Step Brothers has to be on there. For the 90's, Tommy Boy, Ace Ventura, Happy Gilmore, or Billy Madison. & the opposite of Step Brothers, under rated but a lesser known gem that is even funnier today, Semi--Pro!
1. Lebowski 2. Wedding Crashers 3. Just Friends 4. The Hangover 5. The Weatherman How has NO ONE mentioned the greatest comedy ever in Lebowski. I don't understand.
Just as Mike brought him up, I was going to say that Hrbek was a horrible teammate there. Just open that big 1B mitt a bit and give the pitcher a target.
Terrible choices. You know it's bad, when Dumb and Dumber is the best choice by far for all ten selections.... No Mel Brooks, No Monty Python, No Cohen Brothers? Unbelievable.
Whereas David seems to be naming HIS top 5, Adnan always seems to want to name what people think should be the top 5. I always respect David for naming the movies he likes.
Yet he still picks multiple crappy examples.
"Friday" is the greatest comedy of all time and the most quotable comedy of all time. Everyone knows that.
Notice they don't include black movies. All 5 funniest movies ever have black casts.
"I got about 200 dollars."

Mike with the Baseketball reference as he was headed off to the penalty box. YES!
