Casper looks healthy and all babies are different, he looks like he is reaching milestones, teeth, eating etc, he will sleep throughout the night soon. Keep doing a great job 💗

Great vlog Gaby. Very honest and refreshing. A few things made me laugh, but especially the cartoon comment. When my daughter Holly was young it's was Dora the explorer on replay. And with my son Sam it was the wiggles. Needless to say If I see either of those shows these days I roll in a foetel position and my PTSD surfaces. 😉. It's not ideal. Especially if I'm at a shopping centre.

Awww lovely to be a part of the little ones journey ❤ my niece had a tomato allergy, only for her first 2 years thankfully. My 5yr old Gson always woke for his bottle milk after his 1st year of breast milk till he was 3 ! they are all different and we as mums grandmas we just get on with it,( yes its a man thing, no sleep 😮 winge winge winge 😂) my daughter took our little Rory to see her sister when he was 18months old to Australia, they had a blast🎉🇦🇺

All the sleepless nights & all the paraphernalia.

I bet you and Tim can't believe you have done a full year with him. Oh no the shoes didn't last long! My 2nd cousin use to love watching Peppa Pig, am really enjoying watching your vlogs and Tim as well. You are all such a lovely family, must catch up with more vlogs. I am in a choir and my leader is off to have a baby girl.

@@GabyStarbuckx I have been in my choir for 5 years now, can't believe it. That sounds lovely about have a real live Choir at your wedding. One of the leader at my choir was going to get married in 2020 and he wasn't his choir to sing at his wedding when we walk down, sadly covid took over 😡 He then moved it the following year 2021, but his choirs couldn't be at his wedding. So he discovered them to record it in on hearing there voices, we did 2 mashup on Steps, as he is a big Steps fan. He said for a joke we are going to send this in to Steps, when he post the video of the song Steps got in touch and said how beautiful it sounds. He was so happy, it was like a dream come true for him. 😀

Awww I’m glad you had a lovely time it’s lovely there. Yeah we do take his food away with us but he’s still breastfed so with the milk we don’t have to stress about it. Although now he’s 1 he can apparently have oat milk or almond milk so I don’t think that would be too hard to find abroad it’s fairly common now in shops xx
I know this is video is over 7 months ago but I wonder if you added a bit more magnesium to Thumps diet it would help him to sleep through the night?? Maybe have a look into it. I always think it's best to get nutrients is from food, but if Thumps has lower magnesium levels this will impact his sleep patterns, so baby supplements would help. Just a thought Gaby.
oh this is interesting... he has vitamins but do you recommend a specific one?
You are a lovely family. But it's hard when they don't sleep. I worked for 25 years in the Paediatric Service of the NHS with doctors, health visitors, baby clinics etc. There is a tried and tested method for helping promote sleep in babies who want to be awake all the time! I should know, as I had to adopt the programme myself with my two! I'm sure it must be on Google somewhere. Takes about 2 weeks to really kick in and it's hard to begin with, but it does work honestly! You are all doing so well and he's such a lovely little boy. But it would be nice to get some shut eye along the way for his poor Mum and Dad!....so have a little look on the net to see the sleep programme & how it works. x J x

Googled it myself after I read your message! NHS has a good site but there are others. Don't lose heart...it DOES work! I found that having a little wind up music toy radio was a good signal to say ''It's night time'' and you may have to go back loads of times the first few days to keep winding it up. It takes around 14 days but persevere! Just a little touch/stroke of the head and popping the tune on works well, but try hard not to pick him up...he needs to know you are there of course, but no getting out of bed! Yeah, don't lose heart, you will get there in the end! I'm coming up to Norfolk today for a couple of days actually, going to see the seals at Horsey... so looking forward to that!!....Good luck! x J x

Do you mean from having holly? I found it easier. But thumps is a more difficult baby to holly, holly was very chilled. But I have more knowledge now x

Oh my days haha well hopefully that singing has paid off lol. It’s hard to practice singing when you live in little fisherman cottages haha
Is Casper still in your bedroom? I only ask as I found as soon as I put my daughter in her own room she slept so much better and I think we were disturbing her, also have you tried white noise?
Actually yeah he is we don’t really have a choice till we find the right house. But funny you say that because 9 times out of 10 he will wake up within 10 minutes of us going to bed. Almost like he knows the house has gone quiet xx

Hi Gaby I know how you feel when my brother and his wife had their Daughter they were still living with us and she would not go down til about 1 in the morning and would wake up at 7am I would be going to college with one eye open and one eye closed
