- Former US president Donald Trump is “smart enough” to know how to turn an accident “into a bit” with a dodgy lectern in a recent rally, Sky News host Paul Murray says.
“Even when things go wrong Donald Trump is smart enough to know how to turn it in to something else,” Mr Murray said.
“You saw what happened he leans on the lectern, the lectern isn’t there, something breaks underneath it, he turns it into a bit.”

It remains the case however that under the same circumstances Biden would have more likely tripped (and hopefully regained a stable position) or outright fallen over, which has unfortunately happened on several occasions. Having someone that's good at physical therapy at the White House could really help the current president not to be so frail. And that's mostly for his own good. With Trump, his deal would have been losing weight, losing the gut (eating better!) for sure. Different health & fitness problems but same thing with having a proper fitness program in place. I think that ANYONE who wants to be the President of the United States should be willing to exercise, eat correctly and do whatever physical therapy that might be needed with qualified experts to ensure that they are in the best possible shape they can be, regardless of their age, IMO. Once they're no longer in office, no longer in charge of the country, whatever they do to take of themselves becomes their own business.
