Amen! Good to hear how the Lord is moving in our hearts. Everything we do we can bless others with the Gospel. I walked away from evangelism for years, just recently the Lord has been stirring up my heart to speak to the lost. What a blessing it has to see Him moving in my heart and those that I get to speak to.
Evangelism is important to proclaim the gospel to those in the valley of decision and hear the good news I've enjoyed listening to Pastor Mike Macintosh ad Pastor Raul Ries since the 1980s as well as Pastor Chuck Smith, Pastor Greg Laurie, Pastor Jim O Keefe, Pastor Skip Heitzig and Pastor Jon Courson.
What Mike McIntosh, said about people reading their Bible struct me. What if I learned a new verse everyday? What would happen if every person, I knew to be open to the gospel. When I text them, talked with them, or email them. What would happen if, I asked have you read your Bible today? How much does God, mean to me? Does he mean enough to me to spend time reading His word daily? Does He mean enough to me to challenge the people in my life to read their Bible?
so interesting I knew Pastor Raul when he was in west covina and he came into the sizzler... he wasnt very nice. Its great to see how he has softened and humbled over the years. God is great. we are all continually growing.. Thank you Lord
Thank you, these Straight Talks, and! They are good. Please keep them going... Great discussion & sharing Truth, insights, vision, your wisdoms & lessons learned, all for The Gospel & Kingdom of God.
@@Seanwhosoever I just watched this for the 3rd time (21 months later). Would it be possible to get Mike back on to do another Straight Talk? The three of you made this this particular show special; each bringing your own unique gifts and perspectives to the table.
Thank you Pastors Mike and Raul , Great talk! Holy Spirit is Awesome going to watch and glean again. I love street ministry💕learned this at my Home fellowship Horizon back in 2003, Jesus you lead and I will fallow. Win, disciple, send.
It is so good to see Pastor Mike doing so well. I watched a broadcast from 2017 where he was going through chronic pain. I very much need to know how Pastor Mike made it through the tough times. I am facing tough times. The enemy wishes that I commit suicide. I know that is not the answer. Pastor Mike what is the answer? I loved the broadcast I've watched it several times.
Thank you for this conversation. So blessed to hear how you all feel. God has truly blessed you guys in all you do for many people. May God continue to bless you and your families. Thank you again for your teachings. 😇😇🙏🙏
I have a question for next week 10/13/2020 it’s a loaded question. God is not an author of confusion. As I read Ezekiel 4:12-15 It seems Ezekiel asked God to compromise what God asked him to do; regarding Gods disdain with the people of Israel. I see another example of this with Abraham regarding Sodom Genesis 18:16-33. My questions regarding these are these. 1. Is it a compromise for Ezekiel and an intercession for Abraham? 2. Can you illustrate the differences of the two examples and think of another example in Gods word where it was either a compromise or intercession for a person or a group? 3. How can the church today intercede or ask God to compromise today with regards to the evil attempting to over rule the good of Gods people? If we are called to the obedience of Gods will accepting all that this entails is it Gods mercy and grace that allows us to question God regarding what seems to be His will? Like is there a criteria questioning God when He reveals His plan? Is it a test of our faith or our will?
The first misconception is considering God or those men are compromising. They are not, they are debating and wrestling truth. Considering God tempts no man, the only thing to hit God back with is his own word. Ezekiel quoted God's scripture back to God and it pleased God. However, let's look at it in a simple response. God asked Ezekiel to eat something. Ezekiel said no, because he has never eaten anything that does of itself. God then changed the requirement with cows dung. In truth, all things die of itself. Regardless if the ingredient was clean or unclean truly didn't matter. Now, if you really want to consider the depths of God; regard Ezekiel14.9 where God admits he deceives, and reflect that in light of thou shalt not lie. A weak fighter will then say, oh, I don't follow the king james but neglect the fact that every variant of the verse mimics the same words or conveys the same message. Even now, you may be thinking God does not deceive, but, he literally says he does. Now, start wrestling. In reference to Abraham, God was not compromising, God is willing that all would come to salvation. Knowing judgment was soon to come, Abraham at least saved Lot and his daughters. Mind you, Abraham preached and found none.
ALL of us were SINNERS brothers, get over it, no one gets saved because you were a sinner and got saved. they get saved when the Holy spirit convicts them If paul and the 12 wrote about their life as sinners, before Christ, the NT would be 10 times bigger. time is running out, not time to major in the minors!
Romans 10:14-15 *"But how are men to call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?* [15] *And how can men preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good news!"* RSV
You mention church history at 01:45 but you deny church history as irrelevant by your denial of the literal NT teaching of hierarchy and succession of authority. From Calvary Chapel pastor-centric modernist Protestantesque Christianity to Eastern Orthodox Absolute Certainty.
Succession, hierarchy and authority? the things you are talking about Remind me of when Jesus told the Pharisees “ And do not say Within yourselves, we have Abraham as our father; for I say to you That God is able to raise up children to Abraham of these stones” I got saved at horizons Christian Fellowship in the 90s The impact that Chuck Smith ,Mike Macintosh and Raul Ries Have had not only on southern California but all over the United States and in the world Will not be truly known until we get to heaven these guys have tirelessly worked To further the kingdom of heaven and to evangelize the world so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. We are definitely living in the last days or years Jesus said no one knows the time. I don’t see anyone preaching anymore no more harvest crusades etc. People are calling Good Evil and Evil Good. Somethings definitely happening, keep your eyes on Jesus read the scripture and Pray

With out this gospel of Jesus Christ would be mixed up in missing the point of it all that Jesus is Lord King King and Lord Lords amen,
Men with father issues become cult of personalities. Christian men project this into Christianity and deny Gospel teaching on hierarchy.
